Social The Onion bought Infowars topping other bidders lol

I don't support Alex Jones and I don't feel bad for him and Infowars. They are in it for the money - if Alex wasn't, he wouldn't be worth millions and still shilling his crap on his websites. Journalists don't get rich by being clean and transparent, especially if you're not even mainstream. He's VERY entertaining, but a total con man that enriches himself through fabrications and drama.

All that being said, if they really weren't able to make real bids and it was all a sham, that seems like an injustice. Again, not supporting them.. supporting fairness and justice.

After the Sandy Hook scandal, I dunno why people even bother with him even if he’s chaotic and unintentionally funny.
There are a few CTers on SDog who still follow his words, even down to why he got himself into this mess with the Sandy Hook catastrophe.

He's a disgusting piece of garbage, I hope every cent he earns goes to those families.

That's probably the funniest thing Onion has done in a while, they really dropped off. Kudos to them though on the troll job.

It's been years, so I don't remember all of the details, but the price tag for defamation was an injustice too. The entire process has been done to punish Alex Jones and the court has been ok twisting processes to do so. He's just a big enough piece of shit that no one really cares enough to be upset about it. So it is not surprising that they are doing the bankruptcy proceedings like this to try to humiliate him.

I don't think they are humiliating him as much as they think.
