Except Matt "The Mothafooking Law" Lindland!!!Anderson was lucky there were no Matts in his division.

John's supreme talent is his super ulta hyper response to roids, he just becomes another man and gleans 4 times the gains in terms of capabilities and mindset and performance another fighter would get, he also gets less side effects.Seems like a lot of highly accomplished fighters have a "coming up short" experience to drive them.
Ronda: Bronze
Jones: 3rd place
DC: Olympics no medal
now if only he could beat larry bird in playoffsNot a fighter but Michael Jordan was cut from his high school varsity basketball team during his sophomore year and he also seemed to recover from that setback.
He beat jones at ufc 247 back in 2020. He won the first 3 rounds in accordance with the unified rules of mma, thereby winning the fight. Happy to enlighten you friend
Because Matt Lindland did so well against southpaws.Except Matt "The Mothafooking Law" Lindland!!!
The Law was nowhere to be found in the UFC when Anderson took over. It was a lawless wasteland.
Reyes was a machine before the jon fight.it would be different if he had those losses before the jon fightReyes landed more and better in the third, and it doesn’t look good that the guy jones lost to gets put out cold by everyone else he fights
You are good people, sir.Mirko Filipovic also "came up short" in his kickboxing career, never being able to win the early K1 GP he took part in, since he could never beat his boogeyman, Ernesto Hoost... Must have sucked to have a prime "Mr Perfect" as your rival/objective as a young promising kickboxer.
Anyway, it fueled him to compensate by being more successful in his MMA career, even going as far as claiming that he would retire if he didn't win the PRIDE 2006 GP.
I realize that newer fans might no realize it, but Cro Cop has been a top 3 HW for many, many years, and for a long time he would have been the betting favorite against anyone in the world in MMA, aside from Fedor of course.
In MMA, he won the PRIDE 2006 OWGP,
and the RIZIN 2016 OWGP
In kickboxing, he finally got his wish and won the 2012 K1 GP.
As a lifelong Cro Cop fan, It felt really good watching him win that last one in particular, when you knew his complicated history with K1 GPs...

Because Matt Lindland did so well against southpaws.
Yes, Sherbros, I'm well aware. There was a whole cult of personality around Lindland for a little while, even a documentary film IIRC made about how Dana kept Lindland away from the UFC even though Lindland was supposedly "The #1 MW on the planet".The Law was nowhere to be found in the UFC when Anderson took over. It was a lawless wasteland.
There were quite a few posters on here that were convinced that Lindland would beat Anderson back in those days.
YeaGregor Gillespie ?
What actually happened>>>>what the judges who we constantly complain about decideOfficial record >>>>>>> Sherbro's opinion.
