Media The Next Two UFC Cards are The Worst In UFC History

Why rude? How is Mark by the way?
Cuz people shouldn't have to repeat themselves on a message board. The words are already entered. It doesn't matter how slowly I type them, I can't make you read them slower.

Mark is fine, still doing the right decisions as a ref. How are you, still confused as to what stops fights?

I am talking about that spoiled Samoan who lost to ufc after he tried to sue them for losing a fight while he made 900 000$ on his last bout three years later.

You're why shit tier WMMA and watered down D-leagues is acceptable on a PPV. Congrats. You're unbreakable fandom is most certainly helping to progress the sport.
i just bought glasses that makes me look like captain eric, im not part of the problem

Oh you're @Yrat!? Gotcha. Thought you were talking about the Goddard thread recently.

Is that really you? I see that your spelling and grammar got much better. Is that because your terrible posts were just a purposeful part of your trolling, or did Phillipines' only School for the Mentally Retarded get a bigger budget to teach you? (I don't actually know if you're Filipino. Don't feel free to correct me, I don't actually give a shit about you, but it's nice to know you still think about me)

Holy fuck. That card is stacked as fuck. Crazy to think they were probably idiots complaining that it was the worse card ever during the week it came out
Right? Honestly, some of the Fight Night cards I have watched with little to no big names have produced awesome fights. I wish I had more time to watch them.

But ya, if you look back at some of the Fight Night cards from 4-5+ years ago, you'll see that some of them were actually stacked with future stars.

That is exactly what the Fight Night cards are branded as being. They have a few named fighters who might be past their prime or up-and-comers, but it's not difference when boxing has Friday Night Fights. It's for entertainment and potential prospects; not for big name starts to be on...

ESPN did not know who they were getting into bed with

The contract states that the UFC has to put up X amount of cards to be paid by ESPN.

The amount is fixed, and so Dana White and the UFC have been putting up 1 shitty card after another... including a lot of their PPVs.

299 was the first event where every main-fight was a must watch. Hell even the prelims were fire.
Reminded me of the old days.

The UFC realized they could get away with diluted cards after they set up Fight Island during covid and put nobodies on cards to fulfill their obligation.

There's a reason that companies like Fox and Reebok choose not to continue their relationship with the UFC.

I'll be surprised if ESPN made another offer, even with TKO now managing the UFC.

I am so at odds with this. This is such a cheap catch-all in my opinion, and doesn't even begin to address the actual complaint. Yes, every card can be fun. Hell, there was a strong period of time where you could put bets on, the worse the card looked, the better it entertained, and vice versa. However, it's meaningless in the end because the results, as fleetingly enjoyable they may be, hold carry no weight to them, because the cards objectively suck. I can fully wait until after the events happened to tell you how much I enjoyed them or not, but I will still tell you the card sucked.

Also, those examples are pretty low branch grasps. People love pulling out Holohan vs Smolka as if the card was booked to be that shit when it was supposed to feature Poirier vs Duffy and Miocic vs Rothwell. These bullshit cards were actually booked to be this bad

This is below average, good sir. Even this whole new logic of "Apex Fight Nights" being worse than normal, this is gasping for air at the surface.
Well if that doesn't work then Evans vs Davis and Werdum vs Browne weren't the best either and those were stacked. Hopefully the fruit is higher for you to grab.

You take the best fights out of the next four cards and combine it into one, you would get an ok fight night.

Apex cards are basically the finals of contender series. Win on the contender series, get put on an apex card against other people who either won on the contender series, are making their debut, or are one loss away from being cut.
