It's actually very cool that ex-MMA fighters get to continue their career as analysts. By all rights, they should.

That said, some ex-MMA fighters are very interesting to listen to — while some are absolutely insufferable.

Whom do you rate to be the most insufferable MMA analyst?

For me, Chael Sonnen has the most insufferable voice in all of MMA history: strident, urgent, utterly annoying him.

Henry Cejudo is a very close second: base, dripping with ego, stupid.

Conversely, ...

People can rag on Daniel Cormier, but he has a great speaking voice, and he doesn't get credit for a lot of absolutely insightful comments that he makes.

This Bisping is polarizing, but he can be entertaining.

The rest are meh, IMO

What are your ratings?
Laura Sanko and its not even close.

Rogan for his garbage content, probably the worst OF ALL TIME!

Amanda Ribas - if you've seen the film Scanners then you'll know what I'm talking about.

The correct answer is Mitch Chilson, and its not even close.

How dare you sir.
You're skating on thin ice with that post sir lol

He's right.

People only overly love Mauro because he was the Pride guy.

If the roles were reversed and Goldie was the Pride guy and Mauro the UFC guy everybody would be treating Mauro as they have Goldie.

Cejudo, easily.

Yes, I can see why Sonnen is atop many lists for his actual voice and delivery, which is indeed a bit much...but I do enjoy listening to him (even as I don't agree with all of his takes, whether they are honest or an angle).

Cejudo though...his shtick is so cringe, so desperate, and so entitled. No thank you. I hope O'Malley ignores him and fights Sandhagen instead. Let entitled Henry, coming off two losses, need to find two wins to even be mentioned in the title hunt instead of getting there quickly by potentially beating Sean.

Lmao

I listen to Chael’s podcast bc I’m a whore for content. He has a lot of bad habits for a professional talker.

Constantly strains his voice and will likely develop polyps on his vocal folds at some point.

He also repeatedly ends his sentences with the phrases “I’m just sharing for you….” and “it’s one of those things”.

Chael also thinks the saying “power is the last thing to go” is untrue.
Chael is a special animal. Extremely witty and charismatic but he doesn‘t control his voice. I unsubscribed to Chael a while back because his content was just too bad.

I like Cruz, Bisping, Cormier. Din Thomas I'm neutral.

Anthony Smith is horrible.

Absolutely can see why you have this opinion. He's probably the next-down, from Sonnen, for me.

Sonnen's tone and pitch are so strident, I'm immediately taken from a place of tranquility to irritation.

Cejudo, on the other hand, "try so hard to be cool" it's an immediate embarrassment to his entire family tree.

W can't watch atch either for more than a few seconds. Honestly, I have never listened to a complete clip from either of them, their voices and tones are so insufferable.

Joe Rogan when he gets hyper-focused on leg kicks and talks about them for the entire fight, ignoring everything else that happens. “Look at that welt forming on his leg, another calf kick, just devastating, it’s definitely affecting him, he can barely step, oh my god another calf kick, so painful, oh man he just absorbed another leg kick, he’s about to tap to leg kicks”

Voted Dom. I liked his interviews when he was fighting but as a commentator, he shows no emotion and just shits on everything. He also seemingly doesn't know what the rules are and views who is winning based on what he likes to see (wrestling and point fighting). He loves to argue with everyone on the broadcast. Just not a fun guy to listen to.
