Metal/Rock/Industrial The metal thread \m/

I saw it at the Birch Hill in NJ, that dump had great shows and I knew all the bouncers. I caught a few shows at the Limelight too. I miss those places and la'mours, CBGB, coney Island high. We started going to Philly more over the years and of course starland
Wetlands too.

Im a Brooklyn boy so never was too much need to go to NJ but I been to starland once or twice. Dingbatz etc and Prudential centre for the big guns. But I'm rarely ever over there.

Never liked the Haunted.

It's like the sissy version of at the gates. Who needs that??
I mean it was literally the members of At The Gates that started the band after ATG disbanded, so,

<Neil01>

now just sit back and enjoy this Banger oh wait you probably dont like Jinjer either. lmao

Ok I want someone to try and pick the trashiest song to ever thrash. The one that bangs the head that doesn't bang.

You'd be hard pressed to find a more neck wrecking marathon or violence than this song ( the whole album really)

Like imagine trying to survive in the pit to this monstrosity.

Your gonna fucking die and it's gonna be awesome.

and people say Kerry King cant write good songs.

It was the SISSY ver of at the gates. Those twin bros made wack music instead of what ATG was.

And of course you don't got Tompa on vox. So that also sux.

I would honestly have to go back and listen to like the first 2 The Haunted albums to see how they stack up I never religiously followed their carer or anything but lets be honest here ATG has one incredible album Slaughter of the Soul and are really only known for that no one cares about the albums before or after.

Nooooo that's def not true. At the gates was always a sick band, they hit some mainstream success w slaughter of the soul but those old albums, and grotesque is quality shit, and when they came back in 2008 they had to do two nights in NYC cos ppl wanted to hear that old material

They didn't release anything new at that time. They took like four years after that to write anything new. I agree that the new stuff isn't anything too great but they had alot of old material that is all great

Whatever new shit they did still fucks haunted up most likely
