I had no idea when I attended this festival in 2006 that this would basically be the end of Strapping Young Lad.

I didn't even fully realise until tonight, searching Devin Townsend songs on YouTube.

WTF!

And what an awesome performance!

SYL were the fucking bomb.

Saw Anthrax last night and the show was insane. Those guys sound amazing live. Scott's chugs and Joey's vocals were incredible. They even brought out Rob Flynn:



Exodus fucking slayed as expected:



They also brought my friends 10 year old daughter onto stage to hit some riffs as they closed out the set.

I wasn't impressed by Black Label Society. Just didn't fit in with the Thrash and kind of ruined the flow after Exodus. I went and grabbed a beer while they were on, but was otherwise in the thick of the crowd up front.
