When I went to Sweden, I got to see the cemetery where the big cross they posed in front of.

I feel like that overly melodic gothenburg sound that In Flames had really petered out and is not in vogue anymore.

So it's not surprising that you wouldnt find newer bands trying to do that kind of stuff.

If you havent listened to early Katatonia, that might scratch the Opeth itch



Or maybe Enslaved.

Of course he was going to speed it up, cause his dick is bigger than Metallica's or something. And I wonder if he gets Teemu to play the solo and rip something to blow Kirk out of the water, or if he tries to do it himself.

I mean he wrote it, he can do what he wants with it, but...


Metallica recorded that song when they were in the prime of their lives. There's no way you gonna out do it in your 60s. Thrash is a young man's game.... unless your Overkill
