Metal/Rock/Industrial The metal thread \m/

Testament updated their drummer and snare speed :-)
i stopped listen to them after Practice what you preach" around 89. But 2025 i will give them a try. Sounds good.
Louie Clemente was average on drums, they've updated their drummer a million times since Practice.

Paul Bostaph, John Tempesta, Gene Hoglan, Dave Lombardo for example.

This is the first album with the new guy Chris Dovas.

You should definitely check out "The Gathering" with Lombardo. Killer album.

On the other side of things....

SADUS drumming at its best (drum cam), 89, best part of that song including blastbeat + short drum solo .... ):

listen LOUD
(Min mark from 24:16 too 27:40. BUT whole gig was intense TIGHT)

Nisse, the vocalist of Sacramentum, has died. one of the very best black metal albums ever is Far Away From The Sun.
he was only 50 years old.

ill be listening to this absolute classic this week in his honor. you should too. i personally put this album in the top 20 black metal albums that have ever been released.

RIP Nisse.

I was surprised when I found out this is a Finnish band I thought they were some American Slam band so I never really gave them a chance but this is decent actually.

love the Finnish death metal and black metal from the 90s and 2000s. very unique scene. gonna see Beherit next month

For E-Guitar fanatics ...... listening AND seeing how riffing goes is excellent:

Eddie guards my homebrew set up very effectively

Old but fkin gold
Love that riffing, drumming, vocals.... and all together (whole album):

The first and last song is some of the finest black metal ever to be given the stamp of approval by the Lord Satan, the master in Hell.
