Ya know what I used to be accused of being an Izzy fan boy and I’m glad I jumped off the train before the last stop, don’t want to end up like TS ever
Odds are already out for a rematch, Izzy the favorite. Similar to how he was coming off the 3rd Pereira loss, but obv the dynamics are a bit different this time.
it would mean a lot more to be a “3-time champ” if he earned a title shot. it doesn’t really mean anything if he just keeps getting gifted shots after losing. he can get as many rematches as he wants, but he’ll never be a 1-time champ like anderson silva. This forum will crack and go into full on butthurt sooner or later

@Seahawks Fan already posted a thread simply stating the odds, and the level of insecurity show by the sher... sherr??? sher-something? I used to have a word for the users of this forum. Anyway the level of insecurity was off the chart, the first reply was "ban this troll". Insane cope
While there is a lot of talk about how great Seans performance was (and it was) there's also the other side of the coin, how was Izzy's performance. Everyone - bar the most insecure (so most of this forum) has said yeah he looked off, Sean himself saying it was like he wasn't even trying - he was a C grade Izzy, DDP not wanting to fight this version of Izzy etc.
And now it looks imminent the reason for the lack luster performance will be announced. And whoa its gonna be crazy. The cope, the shattered dreams, the realization of in all likelihood it took the best version of Sean to beat the worst version of Izzy. The rematch announcement, the deja vu of Izzy vs Alex, the focused Izzy (as he was in the lead up to Periera 2), yep he'll probably come up with a cringe story line and manifestation theme.
And then.... 3 time champ
or not, no one knows the future, but the odds makers who don't get involved emotionally like this forum does, who simply look at all the evidence available... including that something was obviously very wrong with Izzy on sunday, have Izzy as the favorite in a rematch.
peace out sher... sher..... sher t a.... Sherbros!
He's an Izzy fanboy and CKB dickrider. Awful combination.Ya know what I used to be accused of being an Izzy fan boy and I’m glad I jumped off the train before the last stop, don’t want to end up like TS ever
So beautiful... I could stare at this post for hours.

The meltdown from Izzy fanboys has been hilarious
Your boy got his ass handed to him. It may happen again? It may not?
But he was badly outclassed and that is all that matters right now
Bigfoot Silva is a better fighter than Fedor. How are you not a better fighter, if you beat the fighter you are compared with in complete dominance![]()

Looks like the meltdown has already begun. Certainly has with you TS. This post is pure Copium. Waiting for "the reason" to be announced as if that will change the results - that your boy got his ass whooped. Jesus man. It was grade C Izzy, but he's also lost his title for the second time in a year and may not get a re-match, Grade A or not. Izzy had 5 rounds and this was his fight to lose, which he did. Find a way to cope without insulting the entire forum ya Whiney Douche. This forum will crack and go into full on butthurt sooner or later

It's the 3rd loss on Izzy's record now. This guy was being talked about as if it was inevitable he was going to be in the Jones/Silva/GSP category.
Sean not only took his belt, he took his legacy. Doesn't even matter how the rematch goes. Jones and Silva don't lose to guys like Sean Strickland.
Edit: and if Izzy keeps fighting for titles and whatnot, it's inevitable he will lose again. Between the Strickland rematch and extremely dangerous guys coming up like Khamzat, I really think the gap between him and the rest of the division has closed completely. These guys finally got the dog fiddler figured out. This is the 2nd time he's lost the belt in 3 fights now, the aura is gone.

I agree. He did what he always does. Run away and throw leg kicks while looking for a counter. Strickland was patient and didn't leave openings while beating him up with jabs and quick combos and then jumping back out of range. I'd have to rewatch the fight but I don't see anything that struck me as off about Izzy except for the fact he was getting his ass beat. This is what gets me. Izzy looked about the same as he did against Vittori, Cannonier and Romero. The only difference is that the guy he was facing didn't "fight scared" and walked forward instead of standing still waiting. He ABSOLUTLEY has more losses like this in him. This rematch, should it be granted, will be a far harder one to prepare for than the second Alex fight.
Thats why you have to consider a range of time and opponents. How are you not a better fighter, if you beat the fighter you are compared with in complete dominance![]()
