Just watched it. Wow. First of all, it’s an absolute fuckin miracle that in 2020, somehow this shit didn’t get ruined for me.

Saw the X-wing, and I was immediately like, no way...

Then the green saber lit up, & I was like... WAY

Then CGI Botox Luke creeped me the fuck out, & I was like... oh well.

Still epic, but goddamn did that look like shit. It’s ironic: they spent god knows how much money & time on that garbage, all for an effect that I just had to use my imagination to completely ignore in order to enjoy the scene. How are youtube deepfake kids better at this shit than Disney, the fuck is wrong with you Mickey? Hire youtube kids next time.

Overall though, wow what a show. Really enjoyed these two seasons, solid addition to SW. Great ending to the series, if this is indeed the end.

Nah, I heard there would be a Season 3 next year, in addition to the 'Book of Boba Fett.' Just waiting for official confirmation.

The question is though, what is The Mandolorian without Grogu? Just a bounty hunter?

I'm wondering if perhaps 'less is more' applies to the character and he should be making guest appearances in the dozen other Disney+ Star Wars shows in production, and wait a few more years before a third season.

Just my thoughts.

Hah, yes, my immediately thought on the CGI was “Forgivable!!!”

unlike making Luke a weird quitter who quits his ass off until he disappears, which is “unforgivable!!”

So I loved the original three movies as a kid and growing up, then he prequels came out and ruined everything. Out of the new movies I’ve only seen Rogue one and that was actually decent. But my god, I can’t believe how much they have made me care about Star Wars again

I thought that one was really solid and enjoyed it start to finish. Even though we all knew how it had to end, it was a great story and I was really invested in the characters.

Solo was good for a standalone character piece. Rogue One was really full space opera epic in the vein of the original trilogy and it fit so neatly into the story. So R1 so much more impressive imo

He seemed to be the deciding factor in him going w Luke.
