man this guy was excellent, a few scenes and is one of the things I remember most. Had such gravitas, such presence. Fring doesnt have 1/10 of it.

Best part of the episode, I was pumping my fist, can’t wait for the finale

That speech...”you have something I want!”

Throwing right back in Gideon’s face. So fucking good

Plot Induced Stupidity. This time on the part of the writers.

Also, F&F getting a little political with the Imp Officer’s tirade

People not really wanting freedom, but order is pretty much the MO of how the US political system continually overreaches its power “in the name of safety”.

I didn't get the face scanning part of this episode. Was Mando ever in the imperial? why would his face be able to pass security?

I think there's something behind this. Maybe Din was part of an elite family that sided with the Empire before being a foundling?

He fooled me, Jerry! They shouldn't be allowed to spread fake news on the internets. I later googled george lucas fire kennedy and saw a bunch of headlines with the exact same thing from months ago.
It's the exact same way the fake news spreads in real life stuff. One person writes an article or reports something on TV & then all the copycat mediums jump on board & before you know it, they've almost managed to bring a fake story to the forefront of the news.

It's toxic as fook & that's why I can't support any of that shit. Zeroh can suck it... & fook showing yourself on youtube talking straight into the cammera ffs.

I'll bet that scene at the end of Rebels where Ahsoka shows up & grabs Sabine is actually what kicks off the Ahsoka series, & that's the adventure that series surrounds. It was actually a bit of foreshadowing at the top of her Mando episode when the first showed her wearing that same cloak. Mando fired it up but it's not like she couldn't get another.

So with that said, I think the theory that it's Ezra that shows up as the mysterious Jedi is out the window.

I'm really starting to lean toward Luke being the one. I hope they get sure enough Mark Hamill after some time in the gym & maybe Fab-bro does some of that fancy Lion King magic on Luke's face something like The Irishman or Tron 2 did.

Gratuitous face scene. Didn't make sense. You'd think authorized people were allowed access.

in terms of plot it was just weird for a machine to scan any face.

The ISB is to recognize criminals or those recognized as being Republic supporters. Since Mando's face is not recognized, it didn't trigger an alarm & so the software allowed him to continue beyond the ISB part of the access.

From there he would've had to put in some kind of code, and that part wasn't spelled out, but as soon as he put in the flash drive it went right to Gideon's ship & downloaded the info... so obviouslyl Mayfield put something on the flashdrive.

So it's not exactly spelled out but I think there's enough there to not be concerned with.

That would be sicc as fook though if Din got his face recognized as an Imperial ally though. It very well could've happened if he tracked down some criminals for them.
