Although it’s for children and old school Star Wars dorks, the costumes are terrible and has little depth, it holds up ok using the old Star Wars lore.

Just like above. Accept that the cartoons were made more for kids, give them a watch, and get your lore knowledge up to date. Anyone relying strictly on the movies as their data base is behind the curve.
As for the episode? This one is up there with episodes 7&8 of season one. I scared the shit out of my family when I yelled at the sight of Bo Katan's Night Owl helmet, and once more when she said the name of Ahsoka Tano. I'm in such a happy place, I couldn't care lass about the feminist SJW bullshit about the child eating frog eggs.

Baby yoda eating everything in sight.
So I'm thinking that at some point he will have a super fast growth spurt - maybe that is why he is so hungry all the time - he is 50 yrs now so at this rate he'd be like a toddler at 300-400 yrs which would not match up with Yoda being 900 and near death.

- Frog Lady is almost as cute as Baby Yoda; the scene where she meets her husband was adorable
- Lol at Baby Yoda vs Baby Face Hugger. Actually the second Alien reference: the pods the Ice Spiders climb out of last episode looked very much like Face Hugger pods.
- Stormtroopers continue to be the most pathetic military force in Science Fiction(with the possible exception of Star Trek Red Shirts).
- One of the best action sequences in the show thus far. I particularly liked the homage to Predator.
- Not being a Rebels or EU guy, this is the first time I've seen Bo Katan. And now I want to marry her
- "You are changing the deal!"
