- I thought Baby Yoda's eating habits were disgusting. And my people invented the Deep Fried Mars Bar.

- Nice meta homage with the spiders; Kathleen Kennedy produced Arachnophobia.

- A step down from the season premier. Not bad, but it was basically just a filler episode.
I keep seeing that word filler pop up, but I see it differently. Think about the overall situation Mando is in, he's basically wandering the galaxy aimlessly anyways, loosely trying to put pieces together in a situation where there aren't many pieces to begin with. So yeah if you're looking for every episode to tie into the arch in a very substantial way, no you're not gonna get that. But I think the somewhat episodic nature ties into his situation.

Does it look like there will be more of a plot to this series rather than the Highway To Heaven style of the first, flitting between towns helping ladies do stuff?

S02E02 is filler once again.

This is by far the most annoying Baby Yoda's ever been.

I hope they resolve this Baby Yoda business in Season 2 and focus the main story on something else, like rebuilding the Mando race/army.

The show is basically as Star Wars version of Lone Wolf and Cub. The side stories and other adventures come with the package.

Gizmo caca?

Just rewatched s2e1 & 2. In both episodes, Mando starts off by doing something sneaky to kill bad guys. I liked how they showed the little bandit falling splat down from the sky.

I actually liked the 2nd episode of season 2 better than the 1st episode.
I personally thought the first episode seemed like a total filler.

This show is a lot more suspenseful when The Mandalorian is in a tight jam and the odds are highly stacked against him.
It kinda reminded me of The Prisoner episode.

They are really emphasizing Mando's beskar armor is saving his ass in the various ambushes he falls into.

I'm really curious if someone new is going to end up wearing Boba's armor.

Never watched it. Don't like Disney. Was sick of all of this Baby Yoda B.S. months ago.

Disney can't come out with decent SW movies yet they develop this show for their paid subscription service? Screw that.

Well....to be fair. Favereau and Filoni had nothing to do with the movies. And before they started their streaming service or bought SW, the TV shows were very well regarded.

You give Favereau a new trilogy, I guarantee he'll work that Iron Man magic he worked in 2008. He and Filoni are all about making sure the old fans are taken care of while making new fans.

Genuinely never understand why folks come into a thread about something they’ve never seen from a company they don’t like using a model they don’t like just to tell us that. I mean, how does that contribute to the conversation?
