Anyone can be Mandalorian. It’s a culture, not a race. So, sorry if this has been discussed already....
So the Mandalorian isn't actually a Mandalorian? He's adopted?

I have to admit I would have settled down with the widowWeakest episode by a good margin. I remember watching the last episode where Mando and Jon Faverau started punching each other and I was like "youre both wearing tanks for clothes, wtf is a fist gonna do?". Then this episode Gina is punching him down with basically mma gloves and I was a little bit like "C'mon now, stop it".
This wasnt meant to some deep intricately complex epic. It's essentially a short miniseries made as fan service to win back fans. It's a rousing entertaining success to nearly everyone except the contrarian killjoys.Episode 1 was amazing, episode 2 was good, episode 3 was ok..
episode 4 was tired, cliched, disney shit. Was like watching a bad episode of planet of the apes.
Carano's character had zero backstory, the village was stupid, the attempted love story nonsense, and the battle scene was crap.
Its gone downhill pretty quickly for me.
And why does Mando think he is Reese from Person Of Interest?
This episode was definitely a homage to seven samurai.

I actually thought the actor playing Mando was this guy
his voice, his mannerisms are the same
I think it could be compared to a religious order taking a vow of silence or celibacy. They have technology far beyond our own and likely create technology to allow them to eat but yeah crazy. Something tells me after this episode we will see his face. Not being allowed to remove the helmet is insane. Are they supposed to blend all their food and drink via straw? If you're a badass bounty hunter, you're gonna do whatever you want and be comfortable.

Mando alone's gonna have multiple costume variations after he settles down and has time to paint the new silver armor. Then they got the various other Mandos.

Exactly!I liked the episode. Relax you critical purist losers.
YOU probably should rewatch the episode or lay off the drugs. Not being allowed to remove the helmet is insane. Are they supposed to blend all their food and drink via straw? If you're a badass bounty hunter, you're gonna do whatever you want and be comfortable.
You have me cracking up my man.It physically pains me to watch that cute ass Yodaling. The smile physically hurts. And I’m all aboard the Cara Dune war wagon.
It’s 3am and I need sleep. Will pick this convo up tomorrow.

I don't understand how you can ran out of materials with a Star Wars series that they need to do a filler episode. Directed by Bryce Dallas Howard. It almost went into a Before Sunset romantic-drama route. Fuck.Hey guys hey
I watched ep 4 and don't have much to say so no proper review here - just some thoughts
Ep 3 was the best episode ever, so good it's the only episode I have watched twice. But this 4th episode was booooring
I don't know guys, I could not get into it. This suffers the same problem as ep 2, no plot advancement. But Episode 2 was fun with Jawas - this was less familiar. This episode has the least feel of Star Wars.
In fact it kinda felt like Star Trek. In that show they visit random planets and help them with a problem ... kinda like what happened here. Except I didn't care about the people or their problems and Gina's character didn't work with me yet, we need more time and development with her
When they were set to clash with an ATST I thought of Return of the Jedi and how they were wrecked by teddy bears, so I didn't see it as menacing
But Jon Fraveoux did a good job with that lone ATST - it was very intimidating - glowing red eyes in darkness - horror setting type stuff and I thought they pulled it off very well
But overall, most under-whelming ep of the show by a lot and not much to chew on or talk about here
Sorry to my Hardcore Star Wars fans, just my two cents, - last episode was epic, this one lackluster
It does feel like two episodes with valuable story and two episodes of filler. Like I said at least the Jawa episode was fun filler
