Locked THE MANDALORIAN Season 1

I don't think the Bounty Hunter Guild code and the Way of The Mandalorian are connected.
Sure, but still, mandalorians were people of honor and abiding to the code, no? And since majority of them are mercenaries and bounty hunters, this action takes away a large chunk of their income...

It was still a cool scene, though.

Came here to read an interesting discussion on episode 3. This is a visual representation of me coming and seeing the last 3-4 pages

Aaaaanywho...

Just wanted to say episode 3 was far better than episode 1 and 2. Lots of backstory and character development coming.

Though, I have to say, for being a race (culture?) of people that have a strict follow-the-code kind of vibe, it was a bit strange that the rest of the mandalorians came to help Mando. He did break the code, right? He will never be able to work in the Guild now, right?

The Mandalorians are also, at least in the EU, extremely connected to the idea of culture and family and loyalty. So even though they might disapprove they wouldn't let dude die. Plus that makes them all look bad if he dies and someone takes his armor or something

Exactly. The Mando code dictates that if a friend needs help, you help them. Almost like they are from Letterkenny, lol. Mandokennyans.

That's fine but he still broke the rules and made the Mandos less profitable and respected

So in ep 4 should he be punished despite being saved?

Aw, no I guess not cause other Mando gave the guy a salute in the air

I didn’t get the impression that the other Mandos there were also bounty hunting. Maybe I missed it. It just seemed like that was a safe haven for them to lay low. The big guy at the beginning seemed more mad that they were just wallowing there instead of out there fighting and doing honorable shit.

Without a clear story on the state of the Mandalore post RTJ, all we can do is guess, because their current state is slightly off how they left it in SW:Rebels. The last time we saw the Mandalore in Rebels, they were uniting under the newly chosen Bo Katan. So from that point until the Battle of Endor remains untold.

They didn't give af. Said they'll just find a new hideout.

This show has a 9.1 rating on IMDB with 33K votes. I guess most people like this show.

Maybe it's time for me to check it out.

Even I like it and I hate everything

I mean I wouldn't be surprised if they punished him internally
The show made a point to show us their almost dysfunctional family dynamic early in the episode - Like we get to fuck with you, no one else gets to fuck with you

I liked it, I didn't find it inconsistent at all
campy a little bit

Didn't look to me like they were pacifists and there's a limited amount of jobs they could have with their skill and talent. But yeah, as you sad, no clear story so far, so guess we'll have to wait and see.

So many Baby Yoda and Yoda memes out there, just came across this one

You know it's good when Sarkeesian crawls out of her bridge and gives her opinion.

Even when one of the clan does whatever the fuck they want <Kpop775>

He rescued a baby from ex-Imperials. The same Empire responsible for the Great Purge. Even a large quantity of Beskar wasn't enough to justify working for ex-Empire officers, at least as far as the Heavy Infantry Mandalorian was concerned.

They probably like Mando a lot more now: he not only got the Beskar but fucked over the Imperials' plan and killed a bunch of Stormtroopers:)
