I disagree that it's a bad story & I'm not alone... in fact I'm in the majority.

Just because there are people who are indifferent about the movie doesn’t put them in your camp. They just don’t care enough to vent about it.

At this point, it’s not even worth debating you. I wrote a couple versions of this post, but in the end it’s literally not worth my time any more.

Long story short... the "rambling" was me explaining that it's a common misconception among those who don't like the new trilogy, that everyone feels that way. I'm simply saying that isn't true.
Yeah I wasn't talking in absolutes bud. If that wasn't clear I'm clarifying it now.

I saw an article headline saying Disney+ is considering making a live action Doctor Aphra show. Don't know much since didn't read the comics, but know she has her own action figure.

This is good & I'm glad you're done if you don't have the patience to answer a retort calmly. This is the way. However, you're misquoting me. I didn't say that the people were indifferent. I said that they liked it... & some even loved it... but why would they stick around & listen to people constantly bashing something they love & enjoy. it makes total sense why they don't stick around.

meanwhile the people who don't like it seem to enjoy a sort of "Roasting party." Don't try & tell me I'm wrong. This is exactly what the resistance does & I've been observing it for 2 years now. They love throwing zingers & trying to come up with the clever way to shit on it the most. They attack everyone who doesn't hate the way they hate. This isn't the kind of activity that someone who loves something typically wants to be a part of.

I'm not happy with every Star Wars thread being hijacked by a roasting party & so I engage.

The cringe is strong with this one.

Lets drop the hater articlez that are corrupting your impressionable mind & actually look at the proper context from the original article.

Interviewer's question:
"Jurassic World director Colin Trevorrow was slated to write and direct Episode IX before you brought J.J. Abrams back in. Is this final entry in the trilogy a particularly hard nut to crack?"

Were you aware that she was baited by the interviewer about firing the previous writer/director & that the interviewer compared that to whether or not a new Star Wars trilogy is "a hard nut to crack?" (his words, not hers)

I think not.

All she's explaining here is that they hired a guy & then let him go & she's explaining why. She's saying it's a bigger project than most people can handle & it's more challenging to find someone to write a new original story than it is to find someone to re-write a previously told story. She's not complaining or whining... she's simply answering the baited question that was asked of her about why she fired a guy.

Haha... that's pretty funny. Not accurate, but funny.

Your cut out of KK looks like an alligator gnawed it out though & you need to work on your blending & color matching, (it takes 30 seconds to get that pink out of KK's face) but I'll give you props for concept... even though I take offense to it. :D

You have to understand, I'm not trying to defend her. I simply see this clear as day & you are completely blowing a simple statement way out of proportion.

.
Ha ha I was at work so only had mspaint :P

Glad I made ya chuckle friend

I tried to like this live action children's cartoon of a show, but I can't do it.

I'm sorry @Clippy

It's not bad - it's nice to revisit the old school Star Wars concepts - walking trashcan robots, the robot door eye, the black floating medicine robot ball, Jawas, etc etc etc - many more

But the best part of all is this doesn't damage historical characters or be compromised with PC/woke crap

Overall it's a decent but not spectacular show, the best attribute is how inoffensive it is to star wars fans - which is all it really had to be following that super damaging Last Jedi

I'm interested enough in the story so far to see where it goes - bit there is a weird slow paced atmosphere to this show. Long drawn out scenes of guy in helmet trying to act without using his face. So it is a little weird

Came here to read an interesting discussion on episode 3. This is a visual representation of me coming and seeing the last 3-4 pages

Aaaaanywho...

Just wanted to say episode 3 was far better than episode 1 and 2. Lots of backstory and character development coming.

Though, I have to say, for being a race (culture?) of people that have a strict follow-the-code kind of vibe, it was a bit strange that the rest of the mandalorians came to help Mando. He did break the code, right? He will never be able to work in the Guild now, right?

I don't think the Bounty Hunter Guild code and the Way of The Mandalorian are connected.
