I really enjoyed the first 2 episodes, they are far better than the new movies. Couple thoughts on it, but is it confirmed that Pascal's character is Boba Fett or is it just another Mandalorian bounty hunter? Reason I'm wondering is because when he talks about being a Foundling in episode 2 there is a flashback of him as a kid being hidden away, but Boba was trained by Jango and was self sufficient by the time he was in his early teens with Jango. I thought they got rid of Fett's old ship because of its name but now I'm thinking the 2 are different characters. Maybe Pascal's character will even meet the real Boba in a later episode.

I say yes, but we are only two episodes in. Even my wife likes it, but I'm assuming Baby Yoda has something to do with it. At the end the day, it's John Favereau and Dave Filoni. So I have high hopes for this show.

See, I remember reading the Expanded Universe as a kid (Shadows of the Empire, the Bounty Hunter trilogy, XWing and shit like that) and the times Boba shows up I feel like I remember it being spelled out pretty well that Boba didn't consider himself a Mandalorian even if he grew up on or near the planet of Mandalore and in those books (pre-prequels) he wore the armor cause it brought an intimidation factor that helped him in his job. Same reason he wore that braid of wookie hair on his right shoulder like the cords you see some military uniforms have the idea being he took that from a wookie he killed himself.


Also, this series worth getting Disney+ for?

30 minutes long but it came out just like 2 weeks ago so this can give a pretty good run down. I may have been wrong about the original EU stating that the Fetts (Jango and Boba) weren't Mandalorian. For fucksake I swear I read that Boba just found armor similar to what his dad wore and went with it.

I think the bounty hunting Mandalorians as a culture seem to adopt children and support them with some of them becoming bounty hunting Mandalorians. Though Pedro Pascal is his own character and he's not Boba. I think moving forward they can definitely retcon Jango's story and make him part of the bounty hunting Mandalorians. And Boba being a genetic clone could be explained that Jango wanted something he wouldn't normally get in a culture that values adopted children.

This show is excellent! It is exactly the flavor Lucas originally created in the new hope. It builds out a world not involving a skywalker or a chewbacca or a fucking 3p0.

it doesnt have a mary sue. isn't patronizing towards white men. it's not trying to check box as many minority representation as it can...

my guess is that fucking kennedy cunt has NOTHING to do with this. Cunt has no creative control. Faverau came in and tossed his Iron Man cock on the table and exercised his superior white male privilege by telling the bitch to get back in the kitchen.

I think the actor revealed Mandalorian's name and it's not Boba Fett unless Boba changed his name.
