Watched the episodes. It's fine for what it is but not more than that. Then again maybe my expectations were a bit too high to begin with as i really like Mandalorians in the SW universe.

That said i'm almost expecting some kind of twist at the end. For some reason i think Mando may in fact not even be a Mandalorian but he's just impersonating one or something like that. Dunno why i just have that feeling somehow

First two episodes were definitely western inspired. I wonder if now they have left the planet we will get a different feel. Would be really cool if they had like a mafia theme for the next couple, then maybe something like WW2 inspired. etc.

To be fair. There is nothing in canon that says he has to wear it at all times. Clone Wars and Rebels showed Mando’s without their helmets all the time.
