Yea I need to deload....I have 1 deload a month...but I really need to deload. My definition of "deload" is like 5x5 at 185.
Yeah. Champion powerlifters don’t hit PRs every time they lift. There’s a periodization that is ideally followed, and although there are various periodization structures different people swear by, everyone needs to pull back at times and then build back up.

I typically use block periodization but it sounds like you’re doing like a kind of conjugate periodization (which is fine and I’ve done before and will again) but there isn’t enough variance between 5/3/1 and 5x5 imo. It’s probably too heavy all the time and wearing you out.
 
What r trap isolation workouts do you recommend?
Fuck I meant tricep lol. Typo. But face pulls (TY @TeTe) are an essential isolation to even out the shoulders. That and bent over flys are gonna help your rear deltoids so much which in turn will help if your shoulders are feeling stressed from benching

Tonigjy is strict press night, some mobility exercises, stretches, and kettle bell thrusters

I think so too...I have three weeks until my next official deload. Gonna take it easy.

On a power bar or Olympic bar? Lol that’s an illegal grip for competition purposes. If you mean the hashmarks then your index finger is supposed to be on them at the widest. And Olympic hashmarks are further out than powerlifting ones

Speaking of face pulls, I obviously don't have. Access to cables, do you so bent over dumbell face pulls?

Was just biking home, stopped at a red light. I hear someone BLASTING 70's rock out of their car approaching from behind. I look back and see this really ghetto looking RV. I look inside, there must have been about 10-12 Hasidic Jews partying inside. I started dying lol, Gave them a big thumbs up and a salute and they waved back and loved it. This city is hilarious.
