I read this book as a teenager and it always stuck with me.

It's the first book King wrote and it's a simple premise and was meant to be an analogy for the Vietnam War.

Every couple of years I'd do a Google and see if anyone was working on an adaptation and it's finally arrived, coming out next week and initial reviews coming in strong 93% on RT today.

Philip Seymour Hoffman's son is playing the lead and some of the reviews I've read said he could be in Oscar contention.

This does look good, I have a soft spot for King adaptations despite him being such a political gobshite.

Is it already out somewhere? Saw some silly in theater footages.

I saw this trailer awhile back and it looks pretty dope, like Forrest Gump mixed with Squid Games, probably gonna go see it in theaters, I'll keep you all posted

The trailers make the black kid seem like the villain or at least a villain.

I have been waiting for a movie adaptation of tbis for decades. DECADES.

One of the Kings more effective novels. My fingers are crossed of a faithful adaptation. Wonder if they'll convey the completely stark brutality of it.
I'm surprised it took this long.

I just read this. Hopefully they do the it’s walkin time part

Dated reference ^
