I'm not really a true crime nerd, but every once in a while a story catches my interest. This one is pretty amazing.

Never thought I'd recommend a lifetime movie but they did an excellent job with this one.

The entire movie is free on YouTube if you're looking for something to watch.

Been in SEA 6 years and haven't visited 😂

What's so amazing?
Damn! I suppose not everyone has a love of cool looking old places. Coupled with already being so close to something like that, I almost feel obligated. Like going to the Yucatán and not seeing chichen itza

I love ancient history, I just prefer the less tread or unknown.

There is a mountain right near where I live which has a number of unmarked old temple ruins on it. Only locals seem to have bits and pieces of information about them.
There is also a burial site that is tucked away and unmarked from the outside. There is a little old lady that comes to sweep it up every now and then but never seen anyone else there before.

The wife came along one time and read a placard in the site which apparently states it is the burial place of a king from way back. "Got cold" reading it.

Her story is one of resilience, courage, and the will to survive in the face of extreme danger.

Another truly horrific true-crime case is 'Josef Fritzl.'

An Austrian man who held his daughter, Elisabeth Fritzl, captive in a secret underground cellar for 24 years, from 1984 until 2008.

During this time, Elisabeth was subjected to repeated sexual abuse by her father.

She had six children as a result of this abuse.
