Weird thing is Jake Paul has a list of people that could conceivably want to fight HIM, he doesn't have to beg any of these guys:

• Nate Diaz
• KSI
• Tommy Fury
• Hasim Rahman Jr.
• McKenzie Morrison
• Uriah Hall

Hell, probably even Canelo would take the fight at this point.

Tate is one of the most hated men in the world and for good reason I might add. He's already been deplatformed on all popular social media services. A lot of people will be rooting for Jake in this one. This fight does nothing for me though. While Tate was a legit fighter, a former kickboxer & MMA fighter, he's not a pure boxer. That said, it'll sell.

Can you provide any of those good reasons? Being de-platformed isn't a very strong argument that the reasons were good, if that's the point you're making.

Very easily. Some of those reasons being that he's: a sexist, misogynist, homophobe, transphobe, scam artist, compulsive liar, propagandist, and a fraud. I'm sure I left a couple out but that's the gist. He's already publicly admitted to being some of those things (being a scammer, sexist and misogynist for example). He was so toxic that all popular social media platforms felt the need to ban his presence. Even the platforms that dislike censorship. Since he's moved on to Rumble which is where Truth Social (Trump's social media platform) is hosted. He's a menace to society. Unless you think that women that have been raped bear some responsibility? Or that women shouldn't be able to have the same freedoms as men?

I don't know much about AT...

But I will say EVERY 16-20 year old kid I know ... DOES know who AT his and they seem to think he's a great troll/ complete asshat/ tells it like it is/ is an asshole sex trafficker etc etc. E.g whatever your own opinion of him they actually seem to CARE what he says.

This is an awful celebrity youtube phenomenon without much to do with quality fighting but on the basis of the above it will probably sell the house down and make tons of $$$$.

to be fair this celebrity fight phenomenon has always existed, from Mr T at wrestlemania in the 80’s to celebrity boxing in the 2000’s, it’s always been a spectacle. i personally welcome the jump in training and production value for these celebrity fights

He has a Wikipedia page containing everything there is to know about him. Tate has pissed off so many people that they kept defacing his page. Now it's been locked down with extended confirmed protection. He's universally hated.

Same as in the other fights I watched. Chin up in the air, hands down, bad defense, doesn't jab much... easy money for Paul

Dumb fight. Jake is way too good for Tate. Paul bloodied and battered Silva who recently beat Chavez Jr. I've never seen anyone bloody and batter Silva like that. Jake can actually box and he has the rare gift of power. Vs a guy like Tate he will murk him. Jake should be fighting real boxers like Tommy now, guys that are either solid journeymen or up and comers like Tommy or Rahman.
