Jake has never fought a boxer that can actually box. Tommy can actually box a little. He’ll handle Paul rather easily. Props to Paul though for taking a fight that the odds are against him. A lot of real boxers could learn from him.

Fury will dominate Paul. Trust me Tommy sucks and is nothing more than a journeyman but he's levels above Paul. Paul has power but thats it. He's getting whooped. And a Tommy TKO isn't out of the question

This segment is the funniest part in television history... Tyson Fury's father says to someone that was not shown when Tommy knocks you out ************************ this better you see it for yourself I have timestamped that part had me rolling around legit.. Daddy Fury is an absolute bad-ass gangster... I wanna see more of him on the promos..

Edit: He actully said that to Jake Paul.. <45>

MMA fans hate him because hes embarrassing their sport.
Boxing fans seems to not care too much about him.

As a fan of both I don’t see how he’s embarrassing MMA. He’s strategically fought two old worn down past their prime wrestlers who both happened to be smaller than him. Ben Askren probably has the worst striking of any MMA fighter who’s ever made it to a high level. It’s not like he’s beaten anybody in actual MMA.

You're minimising the Woodley win in a big way. This isn't some old has been from Don Frye's era who came out of retirement, this is a guy who was a UFC champion literally 2 years earlier. And someone who despite his wrestling background, won most of his fights standing. Even Wonderboy, known as one of the best strikers in MMA, couldn't beat him in two tries, and they were standup fights, not a wrestlefuck.

So despite him being on a skid, it was still absolutely a bad look for MMA, being knocked out cold by Jake, a YouTuber.

He still was on a four fight losing streak and was notorious for prolonged bouts of doing absolutely nothing in fights. The two fights against Wonder Boy in particular where neither fighter did much of anything for 50 minutes. Yes he did possess power but that’s pretty much it in terms of striking skill.

PS: I didn’t think the Couture vs. Toney fight or Claressa Shields losing to some scrub were particularly embarrassing for boxing either.

He’s only had 5 fights so in all reality he’s fighting guys on his level so I don’t get the rush to face a “real boxer” most boxers fight amateur for years then box 30 cans before they fight a “real boxer” not sure why Paul is expected any different.

That's probably due to how much the Paul brothers run their mouths.

Before I saw Jake against Woodley I would have leaned towards Jake to KO Fury, but after seeing how timid he was against him both times... I think Fury wins this; Jake's gonna be terrified, though if he can land that lucky right obviously it's goodnight Tommy but... he's gotta land it.

I think it’s a good matchup they’re both at a very early level of their boxing career. Tommy does have the experience advantage though.

Should be fun especially with the name change bet if it’s still on.

no pressure tommy:confused:

I watched that until the 4:00 mark. I've been around, and there sure is a lot of Fury lip licking, tongue movement, chin moving, quite a bit of that going on.
Could be nerves or normal for him, not saying anything definitively, but given the history...

I hope he's OK.

I thought the same thing.
