While it's technically true that you have ownership when you buy stock, claiming that you have ownership without having millions and millions of dollars getting you a significant portion of shares is pretentious. I could throw down $30 tomorrow morning and "have ownership".

Ragin Al said the healthcare wasn't great.
He said when he blew his knee out the UFC would only pay for a certain surgery.

He said he got a second opinion and that doctor said he needed more than that.
AL ended up paying for his own knee surgery.

So the UFC had their most profitable year ever last year, but Endeavor is barely keeping afloat?

The parent company is hurting. They are hollywood movie folks. That industry is taking a beating during COVID. I think they also own Miss Universe and a bunch of weird sports. They also do talent agencies and got into online gambling this year. UFC and those sports are about to become free advertisement for their betting company. Pretty much the company spent a lot of money to expand and is hurting for cash.

Yes, exactly. Apparently you don’t understand how badly Covid hit some businesses. Let alone the fact that they have a massive debt load. They borrowed the money to buy the UFC. The debtors get paid before anybody else. That’s kind of how businesses operate.
