He could probably become decent at mma if he dedicated himself to it but why bother? Better money in boxing.
Hopefully it's better then the last time he tried
Showtime brought us Kimbo through EliteXC, which whatever you think off Kimbo, he was one of biggest stars off MMA at the time. I feel like Kimbo's popularity made the UFC push hard to get Lesnar.Probably Bellator. Maybe somebody smartened him to the idea that the best way to raise the ship of fighter pay is to bring attention to other orgs and create more legitimate competition. Plus he's working with Showtime sports not to mention it's up Coker's alley.
Of course he probably won't do MMA at all.
He can probably beat a lot of people out of the top 15 in UFC. He was pretty good at wrestling, probably better than he was at striking.
I really don't give a shit about Jake Paul to be clear but that was only TV buys, not buys using OTT/Streaming. Using the same metric the UFC sells 0 per PPV because they're only online.Jake trying to keep it going, the views on the rematch vs tyrone bombed, said it was under 65k views, where the 1st was 500 k + views...
I think it depends on who he fights, probably has a decent chance against unranked opponents out of the top 15.
No...no he does not..
His kicks look horrible and if he comes with just boxing hes getting wrestled fucked
His wrestling is better than his boxing.
Lmfao .. no .no it's not...if hes gunna be successful with anything its just gunna his punches...as soon as he tries to grapple he will get fucked up.
Highschool wrestling dont mean shit
To be fair it was supposed to be Tommy Fury. He already beat Woodley so it was a hard sell overall. There was no real interest for the rematch. The KO in the fight delivered for Jake Paul though, so there will be interest in his next fight as long as it's a new opponent. Everyone wants him to fight a boxer, word is Chavez Jr fight. He won't fight Silva or Belfort, he wants to stay undefeated vs mma fighters and both are too dangerous for him to fight. He would rather lose to a boxer. He boxes with pro boxers so he knows where his level is at with them, that's why he's not in a hurry to step up in boxing competition. The Tommy Fury would've been a solid test to see where he's at vs another prospect.Jake trying to keep it going, the views on the rematch vs tyrone bombed, said it was under 65k views, where the 1st was 500 k + views...
I answered Bellator, as that would easily be the best fit for him, but the money issue? Hope it happens, though. Would give Bellator the kind of buzz they need in the worst way.Everyone would be interested until they sit down and discuss figures. Who's going to pay him over a million to fight?
