Do you consider CNN to be a biased news network

How does that prove that CNN is biased?

It proves that Brazile is biased BUT WE ALREADY KNEW THAT. Unless you have proof that CNN knowingly and willingly aided Brazile in her efforts to help the Clinton campaign then you have no argument.
I'm going to give Jack V. Savage a chance to ask me this.

I'd argue this wasn't an attempt to be neutral but rather they thought it would damage Trump.

hi Thunder, happy pre-thxgiving,

i guess that's one way to look at it.

are you saying that CNN giving Trump supporters a forum on CNN was actually a devious plot to undermine Mr. Trump by allowing Trump supporters to say words on cable news?

that sounds like very torturous reasoning.

No.

The people who have voted for CNN being biased appear to have voted based on either their personal feelings or based on some Donna Brazile conspiracy with no evidence. That is factual based on lack of evidence or even a good, solid argument in this thread.

My opinion is that these people should be called wing nuts. Others might disagree with that labeling which is why it is opinion. See the difference between fact and opinion?

Yeah, you don't get it.

As far as having people on, maybe it was an attempt to be balanced. Kind of like shows always have 1 black person. But the massive coverage they gave Trump was generally to attack him. Trump would say something obnoxious and it would run for days on CNN.

Real tight race going on here. This one could go down to the wire...

Wikileaks gave the evidence of bias.

Donna Brazile lost her job at CNN because her bias for Clinton was so blatant.

hello Farmer Br0wn,

errrr, yes.

but if CNN approved of Brazile's bias, they wouldn't have parted company with her. Donna Brazile is not CNN.

hi again Thunderflash500,

yep. happened in the primaries too.

i'm unclear why reporting, verbatim, on what candidate Trump said indicates any kind of bias against him....i'm also unclear that it worked against him, too.

cruz...kasich...walker....all of them would have given their right arm for that kind of media saturation.

- IGIT

No, my stance is that the people accusing CNN of bias against Trump but have no proof are wing nuts who believe that any source that does not conform to their fringe, way right of center beliefs is biased.
How about giving full 1/2 hour blocks of airtime to some of his sexual assault accusers and treating their stories as the gospel truth? They gave the women from the airplane assault uninterrupted time to tell her ridiculous story. They also gave the ex-apprentice chick a lot of time. Their stories were completely absurd and went virtually unquestioned. I've never personally seen a hatchet job so bad in my lifetime. Now everyone acts like ti never happened. No follow ups, no apologies or retractions. Please explain where I'm off base here.

What argument are you trying to make? Are you saying they covered Trump out of the goodness of their heart and journalistic integrity?

There are two primary factors that explain their coverage. To discredit Trump, and get ratings.

I liked how they had that protestor who rushed Trump and tried to get on stage on CNN to explain how Trump is such a bully and a racist.

If a Trump supporter tried to rush the stage against Hillary he'd be smeared and scolded by CNN, probably trying to tie it all in with Hitler or something along those lines.

hello again Thunderflash500,

if i said that CNN allowed for Trump surrogates to be on their network, along with giving Mr. Trump robust coverage out of the goodness of their hearts, please link to me where i said that. you won't have any luck there, since i never said those words.

why are you constructing arguments based on fallacious assumptions?

I didn't accuse, I asked you. I think you're playing games, so I just want to hear what you're side is.

See, it's just right-wing cheerleading. Note that there are no arguments made or studies cited. Just pom-pom waving and personal attacks directed toward people who aren't drinking the Kool-Aid.

I know right! It's almost like these guys didn't do as was suggested and go to hillarys campaign website to fact check Trump. What a bunch of loons.

If you watch the election night coverage and just watch the dude that was trying to play with that digital map of theirs it was fucking hilarious him trying to find a way to show Hillary winning and constantly having the math off.

hi Thunder,

follow your own statements, Thunder, i'm only responding directly to them.

you said, "Trump would say something obnoxious and it would run for days on CNN."

i agreed this was the case. i replied that i failed to see how word for word coverage of an "obnoxious" statement from Mr. Trump indicated bias from CNN.

i believe that if Mrs. Clinton had said odd and peculiar things (i.e. - candidate Clinton tweeted today that Melina Trump is a transvestite), she too would have been on the receiving end of wall to wall coverage on CNN - but i don't think that would indicate any kind of bias one way or another.

i gotta go out, i've a dinner reservation to catch. see ya later Thunder.

Any politician (or high profile celebrity for that matter) caught in any sort of "sex scandal" gets lots of media coverage. The accusations didn't just come out of the blue either. They followed the grab em by the pussy video. So what do you want CNN to do when women start coming out under these circumstances? Completely ignore it. Wanting the media to ignore something that would under any other circumstance cover is what is biased.

Where the hell is that ridiculous video of Wolf Blitzer claiming that Hillary mere "stumbles" on her way to the van, followed by the CNN panel harping about the blistering infernal in New York when Hillary's team said she "overheated" on that balmy and breezy 72 degrees autumn morning?
