It's not guaranteed that high level boxers do well at bare knuckle, even the heavy handed ones.

The game changes when you take off the pillows and thick layers of wrapping. The punching technique has to change or you'll break your wrist and hand.

I'm happy for him. I also haven't heard about any drama outside the cage/ring lately either. I hope he's matured and gotten a handle on his life.

I also hope he gets his money, a means to manage it, and gets out. Because he didn't start out particularly well adjusted. He can't afford to get too many more screws knocked loose.

LOL Paulie was a washed-up point fighter with a broken hand and a lot of people still thought he won. Pillows, I have never even seen Ngannou hurt in MMA, Joshua tossed 5 power punches in the entire fight, knocking down Ngannou 3 times with the 3rd KD sending him to the shadow realm

Yeah, most mma fans are dumb. The gloves actually allow you to hit harder. Yes they give you a better ability to defend but they also allow you to hit much harder that ufc 4 oz gloves.

Most guys fight with 8 oz boxing gloves anyways its nit much of a difference weight wise.

It’s not like traditional boxing, though.. Ergo, there aren’t really elite boxers. They get badly cut up in BK. BKFC has only had just over 60 numbered events. And now they are expanding bigtime. With their new Prospect Series. They are going into new countries, and States, now.

It really seems to be taking off. And Mike Fuckin Perry is the face of the org. Pretty trippy when you think about it. This is apparently his niche. And he hasn’t done or said anything really stupid for a while now. Having a child with his coach has settled him down somewhat. I did not like UFC Perry. But I find BKFC Perry infinitely more likeable.

I don’t think anybody really expected him to beat MVP in England. He made Rockhold quit. He’s just rolling with that “King of Violence” belt he won beating Alvarez. Good for him. As long as he’s not being a dick, I’m pleased for him.

You can put your whole body into punches when you're wearing boxing gloves.

That's why being dangerous in boxing doesn't mean you'll be good at bare knuckle, and vice versa. The punch mechanics are different.
