Look I watched that movie because let's be honest, not watching it is just plain unamerican. But the movie is such fucking garbage I lost some faith in humanity too.

If we assume there is another advanced life form out there, you don't think they had the same issues we have? In case they are anywhere close like us, based on evolution they had to first figure stuff out by trail and error.
I feel the world has come a long way since WW2, we dont seem to fuck shit up anymore. And we have pretty easy life's and they seem to become more comfortable.
 
Humans are at the top of the food chain. We are downright amazing and we have achieved things no other species can dream of. If Aliens ever come into contact with us, they will be holding signs of #alienlivesmatter within a year. We do have some beta bitches like TS among us though and that is surely embarrassing.
