That really pissed me off. Souped up Thing had grey Hulks ass beat....

Then Doctor Doom interfered by getting a green robot hulk to attack The Thing, took Grey hulk aside, gave him a pep talk and hulk came back to win the rematch by using his superior smarts.

Grey Hulk made an bulked up Thing chase him until he gassed.

Juggernaut is one of those weird characters that is never as powerful as his back story implies.

Juggernaut is at that level of power where stupid plot devices or the writers flat out ignoring his powers is the only way he can lose. The magic gem that gives him his powers makes him not only absurdly strong, but absurdly durable as well. He is nearly impossible to hurt with physical force. Most of the X-mens wins over him involved somehow removing his helmet and professor X hitting him with a mind whammy.

These fights usually end with Hulk winning. You need a much heavier hitter than the lowly Thing to beat Hulk.

This fight has happened in the comics many times, and The Thing always gets his ass beat.

This, many times and the only time it doesn't end like that it when it turns out to be some bullshit. Like I had one when I was a kid where some villains were betting on them fighting and the guy who bet on Thing was somehow boosting his powers with some alien technology or whatever, so he was scoring knockdowns and even he couldn't believe it. Thing is a badass but he doesn't have the strength to beat elite HW's like Hulk or Juggernaut. Hulk>Juggernaut as well btw.

Colossus gets to be the noble poet warrior. Unfortunately that means he's either lonely or mourned but the memory of him is honored and blah blah blah.

Juggernaut is the Michael Bay film of villains. There's a lot of build-up prior to arrival, then a lot of sound and fury, but ultimately you realize the entire thing is really just this guy running all over the place making a mess of things.

Hulk turns the Thing into a pile of bloody rubble in a fight to the death. In a battle of strength, the number of folks who can bang with the Hulk are few.

If I had to go toe to toe with Hulk, I would wish for Molecule Man's power set and just disperse his body molecules across the universe. Yup, that should do it.

so i follow cartoons and comics not at all because it seems a little ridiculous to me. how would some of the regular movies guys do? would they have a chance against the hulk?

terminator, predator, freddy, etc. since hulk is basically invincible, i guess they wouldnt do to well. unless he falls asleep on freddy, that is

The madder Hulk gets, the stronger he gets. Thing is a better fighter with a wrestling and boxing background. Thing has more heart than anybody.

Thing is my all-time favorite super hero.

But, Hulk's upper limit surpasses the Thing's positives.

Hulk wins.

This, except Thing is my 2nd favorite after Spider-Man.

You're forgetting Thor and Namor.

Namor is only stronger than the Thing when they were in water.
And even then, Thing is known to pull his punches against anyone unless he thinks he's outmatched (Hulk, Gladiator, heralds of Galactus).

Kind of a corny ending, but Thing is stronger than Namor on land and vice/versa.

Regular Hulk beats Juggernaut and World Breaker Hulk beats almost anyone on earth..

Including wiping his ass with Apocalypse (who is only really powerful because he wears some gay ass celestial armor) without that armor Apocalypse is garbage.

Juggernaut, like Thing, is a victim of inconsistent writing. Juggernaut should not lose to Hulk. Ever.

Who can beat the hulk then?

Does he really have limitless power? Couldn't he eventually destroy anything?

Thor & Silver Surfer should beat him, but Hulk is always protected by some plot armor so he is never defeated. At best you will see him in a stalemate against Thor/Surfer.

Dude, Juggernaut is a can. He gets taken out by Squirrel Girl, Monkey Joe, Tippy Toes and Mr. Lieberman on screen.

At least when she beats other powerful Marvel villains and heroes, it happens off panel.
