American kids are brain washed to believe America is the greatest country in the world, but it truth its not.

Heres a true story, I went to Orlando about 15 years ago when I was a kid, and I was chatting to an American child who picked up on my accent. We got talking and there happened to be a large map of America on the wall next to us, he pointed at the map and said "where in the world are you from".
10 year old me, could not believe what I heard, and I said "Wales, its part of the UK" well this kid has never heard of it.
Granted this may not be the case for all American children, but c'mon, ya'll dumb.

The fact that the Germans were begging the western allies to get to Berlin ASAP as the Soviets were burning, killing and destroying everything in their path on their way to berlin should tell you something about the role they had in defeating Germany.

I like this revisionist history about WW2 going on all over the place. It seems like people taking either side of the argument are greatly undervaluing the other.

I mean, you guys do remember that while Russia might have gotten to Berlin first (and lets ignore the fact that they didn't have to cross an OCEAN to get there), they did so against a Germany fending off the largest invasion in history from the other front. That invasion was set in motion by a country simultaneously fighting a war against another world power in an entirely different ocean.

I'm not trying to undersell Russia, obviously they played an equal, maybe greater role in defeating Germany. But I see a lot of European posters try to shit on the American role in WW2, and that does kind of get under my skin. Especially since western Europe pretty much sided with big brother America during the cold war for protection from the Soviet Union. And lets face it, if we weren't their flexing on your behalf Europe probably would have been taken over by the Soviet Union.

Cannot be the greatest nation due to poor education. Poster above is a good example.

Ruskies would have burned it to the ground before letting the Germs have it.

Even with the fall of Moscow they would still have some 4/5 thousand km to pull the germ army into and wipe them out. Russia had a far bigger population, a war of attrition the German could not win. The German generals knew that them self's. They saw the invasion of Russia as their fall.
