NFL The Great San Francisco 49ers

Cowherds top 10

10. Bills
9. Texans
8. Bears
7. Broncos.....way too low
6. Eagles
5. Rams....he was real hgh on them
4. Jags....shocked
3. Pats
2. Niners....by far their highest ranking all season
1.Seahawks

So the NFC West with 3 in his top 5. 1 vs 2 Saturday night.

Frank Gore must be a Hall of Famer since he is number three in rushing yards.

Roger Craigs rushing and receiving should get him in, but...........hmmmm?

Christian McCaffery a......???....as of right now.

Speaking of Niner RB's

Joe "Jet" Perry first black to have a 1000 yatd rushing season....and....the first RB to have consecutive 1000 yard seasons****
Only team to have three future Hall of Famers in Perry, Hugh "King" McElhenny, John Henry Johnson sharing carries.
James Owens the only NFL RB to make the Olympic 110hh final
JD Smith the first HBCUer (NCA&T) to have a 1000 yard season
Roger Craig the first to have a 1000/1000 season
Will McCaffrey be the second?

**** Perry only had a JC education Compton, he is the only NFL 1000 yarder who can say that.

Have you followed Cowherds NFL bets? He is at 60% for the season. With a nice mix of underdogs thrown in.

In this Niners vs Seahawks game we have the Niners at home AGAIN playing a traveling Seahawks team on the road AGAIN this is a big deal being these teams are close, a 1.5 spread tells us. Now add the Niners are very familiar with Darnold and his new team.

Trying to not just be a Niner fan with this, but the Niners PLUS 1.5 is my play. Actually hard to believe they are a home dog,

I no longer play ATS but when I was....

A team wil be one of these 4

home fav
home dog
road fav
road dog

Your job as a serious player is knowing how the teams do ATS in whatever role they are playing that week.

Example

Niners are a road dog at 4-16 last 20, they are in Denver a team that is 17-3 as a home fav last 20. That gives Denver a strong 33-7 "spot".

Denver the obvious play ATS.

A little more to it than just that but you start there.

Watched that Bears game, no doubt SF is in top kick-a$$ offensive form.

Impressive AF is the Purdy/McCaffey combo, last game those 2 were phenomenal.

Those 2 together remind older fans of the Young & Rice days, a force to frighten Any Team's Defense.

Purdy nailing 5 TD's against the Bears' defense showed any doubters he could get it done.

Yep, yep, yep and hell yes.

Really is a bummer however that we lost Bosa and Warner, with them I do feel better about things.

Purdy is hot just hope he doesn't cool down.

Jennings is a surprise.

I don't watch most sports anymore, but when I was a kid watching football it was during the 90's, and the 49ers were so legit and amazing. Steve "CTE" Young and Jerry Rice, a great duo.

Was Rice lucky or what, first Joe Montana then Steve Young, and weren't they lucky to have him.

@Sir Elzio Dennick

Who is the fastest whitey you've seen on the field in your opinion?

That would be world ranked hurdler/9.4 sprinter Richmond Flowers.

This cat....

There was even a movie about him.

Played with the Giants and Cowboys.

Little trivia...

The last white sprinter on a USA Olympic 4x1team was Dartmouths Gerry Ashworth in 1964. Also a 9.4 cat.

Hmmmm?

NFL White 100m

lane

1.Don Beebe Bills
2.Travis Jervey Packers
3. Billy Cannon Oilers
4. Richmond Flowers Cowboys
5. Jerry Tarr.............top ranked hurdler in the world Broncos
6. Roger Carr Colts
7. Don Maynard Jets
8.Lance Alworth Chargers

When John Riggins was in high shool a slimed down Riggins he twice won the Kansas state 100 title, a 9.8 cat. Used to be a video of him winning one of them, dude was ripped. Guessing 190ish.

Way back in the 30's a TCU RB named Cyrus Leland tied the then 100 yard world record, yep, a white RB and the 100 WR.

Up untl the early 60's we had as many while sprinters as we did black, for every Jesse Owens there was a Bobby Morrow, hell while sprinters won the 52, 56 and 60 Olympic 100m, then in 1964 Bullet Bob Hayes showed up, it was never the same after that.

Sprinters with roots to western Africa begin to dominate as they do today.

God, as You know I don't ask for much, but could You give the Niners a helping hand tonight, pretty please.

Amen

I usually don't start drinking at 9am, but really am nervous already, a JD/Coke 50/50 mix sure sounds good. I need to chill.

GO NINERS~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

FUCK~~~~~~~~~~

It's pourig down rain, which means it's raining in SF also, which means a wet field,

God does work in mysterious ways.

I get God is pretty busy, doubt a football game makes His things to do list. But worth a try.

Anyway....

A Niner team with Trent Williams, Nick Bosa, Fred Warner and Ricki Pearsall is a hell of a lot better than one missing those studs. OBVIOUSLY.

Anyway....

All is not lost yet, we still have a shot but do need Williams and Pearsall back I get the other two won't be back this season.

If we could just play with our full team one season, how cool would that be?
