NFL The Great San Francisco 49ers

The games were just really good. Goal line stance by the Ravens, chiefs down 10 points in the 4th quarter, then Chiefs win in overtime. All really exciting games. Sometimes the superbowl has been a drag but not those 3 games

Got it.

I never did like this NFC vs AFC thing. Would love to have seen a Cowboys vs Niners or Raiders vs Steelers Superbowls.

You won't get far before you read......the first African American to....

Noting racist about it, simply facts.

Fletcher Joseph Perry (January 22, 1927 – April 25, 2011) was an American professional football fullback who played in the All-America Football Conference (AAFC) and National Football League (NFL). He played for the San Francisco 49ers from 1948 to 1960, the Baltimore Colts from 1961 to 1962, and returned to the 49ers in 1963 for his final year in football. He was exceptionally fast, a trait uncommon for a fullback and one which earned him the nickname, "the Jet". The first African-American to be named the NFL Most Valuable Player (MVP), he became one of American football's first black stars.

You need to grow up we have passed you by.
racist

Speaking of racism....

Kowing that yes we are different isn't racism in my book, that is simply common sense.

Saying all fast people are black THAT is racism.

Saying.....the fastest humans are those with roots to western Africa simply common sense.

Usain Bolt wins the 100m in 9.6, wins the 200m in 19.3, anchors the 4x1 in 38.00. that is excitement. and all under a minute.

You simply aren't geting it.
I get it. It’s just boring to me. So is running.
Maybe when you mature, you will understand that when people say they don’t like the same things you like, it isn’t always an attack on you. Sometimes people just like different things.

Speaking of maturity, why enter a thread OBVIOUSLY about football to talk from a negative perspective, I ignore things that don't interest me like a mature adult does.

You must know most guys love football, right?

What do you find exciting, well?

Because it was about the 49ers. And while football generally doesn’t interest me, it did at one time. And that time was when Joe Montana and Jerry Rice played for the 49ers. Which was my original post, genius. And it was in Mayberry, which was weird.
So why don’t you go ahead, cut your losses on this one, and fuck right off.

So you struggle trying to deal with others, got it,

I confess I didn't expect the Niners to be one win away from having the NFC Number One Seed this quickly. And doing it without key players makes it even more......I'll be damn.

What can we say about Brock Purdy, the guy simply has....IT. What a great leader.

Christian McCaffery is the best RB weapon in the NFL and will soon become the first to have that 1000/1000 season twice. Another first for the Niners.

Bummer no Bosa or Warner, but can't help but think how dominate the Niners would have been with them.

Very reaistic to think this team is Superbowl bound.

What's sad is it feels like they're good enough to win a playoff game, maybe even make it back to the Superbowl again, but then lose again.

Crazy they could stay home through the playoffs and close it out at home as well

Obviously missing Bosa and Warner is huge, we don't have the pass rush and that sucks.

If they can get by the NFC I do think they can beat any AFC team.

McCaffrey needs two more TD;s to join that 100 NFL TD list, he could get that next game.

He needs 110 receiving yards to have another 1000/1000 season, do doubt that which is a bummer.

Later today Cowherd will rank his top 10 NFL teams as of right now, so far he hasn't given the Niners much respect, curious where he has them now. Gotta be in the top 3.

Guessing

Seattle
Pats
Niners
Broncos

His top 4

While here...

As of right now Brock Purdy has these career numbers....

comp% 67.9
TD/INT...84/36
passer rating 104.8

That is as good as it gets for a guy in just his 4th season. And he has a pro bowl and Superbowl.

Looking at his Iowa State numbers, 67.7 and 81/33 with a gaudy 151 passer rating, yep....4 seasons. Why he wasn't taken earlier? Hell, almost 1200 rushing yards.

6-1 shouldn't be too short.
