Who do you think had the best and perfect retirement?

It’s hard to time retirement just right… but I think Nunes had one of the best.

Cleaned out his division, retired on top, wasn’t too early or too late.

Khabib’s retirement was too early left too many questions regarding potential opponents.

GSP’s retirement was crap too, ruined the MW division and arguably ducked a lot of contenders despite giving up the belt.

And most retire way too late, on top of losses, and forced out by the organization.

Who had the GOAT retirement?

Chris Lytle. Went out on a sub win over a named opponent (Dan Hardy) on a fight card he headlined. Got an extra bonus check, and they brought his kids out to congratulate him.

Mark Munoz's was pretty cool. Good to see him go out on a win vs The Big Slow. He seems like a good dude.

In 6 months Jon Jones will retire as the longest reigning UFC Light Heavyweight and Heavyweight Champion.... GOAT ;)

I actually love Khabib's retirement. Went out on top like Barry Sanders or Megatron (except, AS A CHAMPION).
Always leave them wanting more.
Obviously there were more fights left like Charles or Tony, but in retrospect, I don't think either of them had much of a chance.

Khabib, cause he did it for his momma, and he’s staying properly retired and devoting his life to his family and helping his bros train.

No dumb ass podcast or tv/movie project, no teasing of return, no reports of shenanigans with drugs or the law.

Just slowly riding out to the sunset making stops at soccer games here and there.

May have left questions, but he clearly doesn’t give a shit and he remains with his dignity and record intact.

100% Khabib, the guy had an amazing story and went out with an incredible performance, he have stayed focused on his projects while alsl being rich and the most important thing is that he is still getting a lot of attention.

Robbie Lawler had a great one. Though some say it was a fixed fight and others say Robbie's gonna ruin it by making a comeback soon.

Your take on GSP's retirement is absolutly shit and is dishonest (and you know it), but I agree with you that Nunes probably had the best one

I enjoyed McGregor's the most. He got broken by Khabib, both physically & mentally. His last "win" was a fixed match with Cowgirl taking a dive. Then he got both KOd & Crippled by Dustin Diamond. His final UFC appearances were on a failed season of TUF, where he pretended he wanted to still fight; but was really only there to sell his "FAST" failing brand...🤡

Easily Nunes. I don't even see how it's a competition with her in the mix.

Defended her BW belt easily and with no controversy while she had the FW belt waiting at home.

And the fight before that she had avenged the one loss she's had in years and left no doubt that she was better than Pena.

I was pretty pissed GSP sniped Bisping than ran. Not dishonest in the least.
