Dude anderson is world class. Elite as they come. In his prime he destroys everyone in middleweight except Romero and weidman. Jacare is 50 50 fight too. At lhw, he beats everyone not named jones, dc and rumble.
What do you mean by GoAT? In terms of ability to defeat opposition or based on longevity and achievements?

GOAT = how good the given fighter was at peak.

It's anderson.

Matching him against Romero and Jacare is meaningless because they peaked and made their runs after Anderson's golden days. It's pure speculation. You can say Romero smashes him, I can say Anderson picks him apart and clinically TKOs him. It's speculative.

Fair enough. He was the GoAT of middleweight during his reign as champion.
Was he the best fighter back then? Yes but he isnt he best fighter of all time in the middleweight division. I dont see him beating weidman even in his prime.

I already made my point clear. Also, Weidman's run is nothing compared to Anderson's. He doesn't have his own name, he is "the guy who beat Anderson". That alone tells you a lot.

Did he ever pop? No.

Did I claim to definitively know that he never used PEDs? No.

I am aware that it is LIKELY that the vast majority of Mixed Martial Artist were using PEDs prior to USADA. The fact remains that Fedor never tested positive. Even in the great ole' U.S. of A!!!! Mind you that other fighters tested positive in the same promotion as him (Barnett).

Another thing I hold stock in is that he never even looked like he was abusing PEDs. No like we ever had an UberFedor... He was always just a bloated LHW.

Anderson had ONE elite win, Prime Hendo.

Fedor had FOUR, Prime Nog 2x, Cro Cop and Arvloski.

Fedor also fought well above is natural weight and dominated from the start of his career until a few years past his prime.

Anderson struggled early in his career and lost to very low caliber fighters in his prime (Chonan, Takase and Azeredo) *Azeredo is only included due to being a LW lol....

Fedor definitely declined poorly, but managed to go 6-3 after his loss to Werdum.

Anderson has went 1-3-1 and tested positive for PEDs twice since his loss to Werdum....

Anderson was amazing and has the best HL Reel in MMA history, but he started slower, had a weaker prime and declined worse than Fedor.

Huh? Never said I "Hated" Anderson....

No Vitor is not Elite. He has been wildly inconsistent through every stage of his career. Nog, Cro Cop and Arvloski were extremely consistent in their primes.
