The GOAT Anderson Silva showing how a champion conducts himself

GSP after BJ Penn's team throws in towel

GSP is another prime example, but that dude is in a league of his own in niceness.

Guys like Serra bashed his country, he endured B.J. Penn’s trash talk, a whole season of TUF with Josh Koscheck, Nick Diaz.

Even when Dana White threw him under the bus and talked down on him at the UFC 167 presser because he thought GSP was at the hospital and wouldn’t show up, GSP kept his cool. That was the one time I would really expect him to snap but he was cool as can be.

Not to mention he endured Bisping for months and finally when GSP had enough he savagely mocked Bisping for wearing sunglasses inside.

Like that time he planned to kill his coach with a shotgun type of classy?

Yeah, GSP keeping his cool after Dana threw him under the bus. Danal called him "weird" for wanting better testing. GSP took the high ground and WON. Testing was put in place.

That was so cool when GSP surprisingly appeared.

Great post but if you are trying to compare Silva's class with mcDomadeof's class...
Well the guy is from a very little village from a very distant area from a yet to evolve group... I mean he's like a time traveller coming from middle age you know...

Not really comparing, just showing how great Anderson handled the Sonnen beef.

fack off men

I honestly expected the tranny dancing vid to showcase how a real champ conducts himself tbh

It's sad that this current generation needs obnoxious and fake "beefs" and trash-talk to get into fights. Society is fucked.

1. It’s funny cause Khabib game is basically what Chael did to Anderson in the first fight ... (minus the sub)

2. The finish in the second fight still looks like a work to me

Before Conor McGregor was the king of hyping fights in mma, there was Chael Sonnen.

Of course there were guys like Tito Ortiz and Michael Bisping who would trash talk and banter, and there was guys like Josh Koscheck who would wear the black hat and play the bad guy role.

Chael Sonnen though really mastered the art of trash talk and hyping fights and he took it to another level, especially around 2009-10 when he spent over a year talking trash to Anderson Silva to get a fight.

Chael Sonnen didn’t shy away from getting personal with Anderson.

Chael disrespected Anderson, his country, his culture, his team, his fans, Chael went out of his way to make things as personal as he could get.

After winning one of the best championship fights of all time, Anderson bowed at Chael as a sign of respect for a great fight.

Chael after returning from a suspension eventually earned another shot at Anderson.

Chael doubled down on his insults and he actually made things even more personal this time around by mentioning Anderson’s wife.

After having stopped Sonnen again, rather than allow Chael’s remarks about his wife, Brazil, his fans, his team, etc, set him off to throw flying knees at everybody, Anderson Silva shook Chael’s hand and invited him to a cookout like the GOAT he is.

This picture above right here is a visual representation of what fighting is about, honor and hespect.

If you mention someones wife to promote a fight you're literal human trash.

I'll allow it although I would be remiss in my Mod duties if I didn't point out Nick Diaz was able to push GSP to his dark side. The result being the GOAT pre fight conference call in the history of the sport.

"I'd be pampering myself the fuck up to" - Nick Diaz
"I speek better english than you" - GSP
