Book was great..

The film was pretty terrible. They abridged so many interesting parts and completely removed the "junkers" from the film.

There were 2 or 3 particularly creepy scenes in the novel which they either glossed over or omitted in the film .

This is the 2nd worst zombie adaptation of a novel

The misus just read it says it was really good. Should i skip the book and go straight to the movie? I generally like to read the book first

The people who weren't part of any government, scavengers ...

They were the ones responsible for wrecking havoc on the military installation in the book...

In the film , the "zombies " overran the military base.

yeah dude infected are truly terrifying. I sometimes wonder what the next "evolution" of zombie will be. At it's core it's everyone is mindlessly against you, my guess is aliens. Your post makes we want to watch dawn of the dead now lol

The film is very forgettable .

There is actually a YouTube video which demonstrates the effects of the cordyceps spore. They mention it specifically in the novel. It's scary what it does to insects ...especially ants

World War Z as a film is probably the most profound and brutal rape of a novel I've ever seen.

Invasion of the body snatchers which turns humans violent and crazy like 28 days later, that started as a government experiment into an alien pathogen gone wrong alas Jacobs Ladder.

Yeah.. that movie pissed me off so bad...brad Pitt for fuck sakes...fuck them all.

That book is awesome reread atleast once a year..I never reread books but that shits so well thought out and the different accounts/regions really put a human touch to it but keep it evolving.
