Here's what I think re: Wells. I don't think he's the reverse flash. I think he creates the reverse flash, and uses that device to give himself some of those powers but only temporarily. I am sticking with the theory that Thawne is reverse flash, working with Wells.

i was thinking he would become professor zoom, the guy who manipulates a time; essentially making him move through time faster than others, but not actually moving at superspeed... He is moving superfast through time..and that essentially makes him faster than the flash...

so thawne is the reverse flash; wells is dr zoom, he can't maintain superspeed..but he develops the other power and eventually turns on the flash..imo

Yup, I agree. That makes the most sense to me as well. Something will probably happen with Iris and Thawne and Flash/Barry which causes the rift between them.
 
I think the Reverse Flash we've seen is Eobard Thawne aka Professor Zoom. A descendant of Eddie Thawne from the distant future. This also follows Eobard Thawne's origin in the comics, where he gained superspeed and travelled back through time to become the enemy of Barry Allen. This would also explain why he couldn't kill Eddie.

I'm starting to think that Wells is an original character for the show, based loosely on Hunter Zolomon. Zolomon being the Reverse Flash/Zoom who does not have superspeed, but is displaced from time and can use this to imitate superspeed, and becomes the enemy of Wally West.

Wells' obsession with The Flash and making him a better hero is another trait taken from Hunter Zolomon, who sought to make Wally West a better hero through inflicting various tragedies upon him.

I think Reverse Flash will be Eddie. In his snooping around he'll find Wells' gear and suit and put it on himself. A Barry/Eddie/Iris love triangle will be the reason he turns on Barry.

I don't think Reverse Flash will be from the distant future or a descendant of Eddie. That'd be too much for casuals to swallow. Mark my words: Reverse Flash will be Eddie after he steals Wells' suit. They're setting it up to be kind of a Peter Parker/Eddie Brock situation.

I thought Hartley was going to reveal how he left cause he was jealous and liked Wells or some shit. Glad they didn't go that way. This episode seems very skippable tomorrow night though

Decent episode. The a-plot was eh, but I liked seeing more of Caitlin (both character wise, and what looked like some great legs).

The last episode was awesome. It was the best of the season apart from the Reverse Flash one, IMO.

Finally Barry was fighting someone with powers that could make his super speed not make a fight scene lasting longer than a fraction of a second feasible. I completely disagree with her being locked up, though. Compared to the rest of the Flash's "baddies," she's small potatoes. She broke her bf out of jail and stole some money, but she's largely harmless. Everyone else were murders and attempted murderers.

Also, Barry and Dr. Snow need to bang. The Korean chick is hot, but c'mon.
 
And they found a way to make the Flash sing. I was wondering when they were going to get around to that. :icon_chee

If they ever make a crossover with the upcoming Supergirl show, I expect them to hit the same karaoke bar.

Yeah it was gave me a smirk because Grant is a good singer , as he showed on Glee. Also noticed the CW actors connection as the girl at the Bar has appeared in a few of their shows
 
It was a very solid episode.
