What's the fastest Flash has gotten up to at this point? Lightspeed yet?

Something tells me that's not gonna happen. :)
Didn't he break the sound barrier in the pilot when they were testing on the air strip?

This has been the best episode so far. Captain Cold was the shit. Can't wait for The Rogues to all officially get together and wreck Barry's ass.

In the show? Nowhere near light-speed. So far he's only running at a few hundred MPH. In the comics though he's run so fast he outran death. That might have been Wally West though since he's faster than Barry. Haven't read much Flash, need to though.

Captain Cold was an amazing villain, can't wait to see more of him
Best episode so far by far, I have to say I'm really loving this show. I'm looking forward to where they go with the flash mythology. Freaking Heat Wave is coming soon which will be awesome

gg The Flash

he outran the black racer which is the incarnate of death. He like any other flash of the speed force family can run faster then the speed of light.

Warner Bros. just announced Ezra Miller as The Flash in the 2018 movie.

Ezra is a bit of an odd choice. For those that don't know him, he has starred in We Need to Talk About Kevin and The Perks of Being a Wallflower.

Just watched the first episode yesterday. The Wife is already uninterested, but I'm happy to go this one alone. Rushed, but they did what they had to. Never watched arrow and don't have any plans to, so I hope that they don't do too much crossover stuff.

I hear that Ezra is a good actor, so let's just hope that over the next 2 or so years he gets groomed into someone that looks like a super hero. Isn't this pic a bit old too?

Damn it, I was all set to give up on this show and then they go and bring Felicity Smoak in for a major crossover from Arrow. If she keeps popping up on it I'll have to keep watching it.

The Flash is quite good in many regards - in particular I think they've done a good job with CGI and in casting Grant Gustin, Tom Cavanagh, Jesse L. Martin and Danielle Panabaker - but it's just not keeping my attention every week. I think it's not so much the fault of the show as it is that I've never been a huge fan of the character from the comic books in the first place, and my opinion is that the writing on the show thus far is only so-so and predictable. The villains we've seen so far have not impressed me at all. Also the armored car robbery in the latest episode was laughable - the Flash takes down all the thieves and then goes to care for the driver who got shot...15 seconds later all of the criminals had recovered and were escaping, making the Flash seem really weak [insert obligatory GSP / Bisping / whoever no finishing power joke here].

I'm a huge Arrow fan and was looking forward to the new DC projects this year, but I've been disappointed in both Gotham and the Flash. While the Flash just isn't to my tastes, Gotham has been surprisingly weak so far. I'm really hoping they can turn it around before it's too late (as Arrow did in season one). The other new DC show, Constantine, has only aired one episode so far but I'm cautiously optimistic about it.

i think the character is a acquired taste...

Wentworth Miller was awesome as Captain Cold.

Great episode.

Fun episode, better than the last one. Thought Cap Cold was fine, he'll have time to build which the other villains so far haven't. The ice stuff was cool. I thought we'd see a Black Adam exhibit at the museum. Professor F didn't fake smiles to everyone which is a big step forward. Excited to see them putting the Rogues together, all of them going to a bar after getting beat by Flash will be a great moment.

That Felicity gif should be the first post on every page for the rest of the thread and the Arrow thread for that matter (being the Felicity Thread and all).

My kids really want Barry and Felicity to end up together. I teased them by calling the pair "Barf" (Barry + Felicity).

I thought Felicity and Barry were more suited for each other than Felicity was with Oliver or Barry with Iris. Barry and Caitlin are also a good match.

Wally West is not faster than Barry Allen. Barry Allen is the Speed Force, bro.

I always thought she was a perfect match for that Gambitpool fella. I've even created a name for them, "Gamicity."

I thought Arrow was going to come save Flash when he was on the ground frozen.

So Felicity likes Oliver and Barry and that new CEO guy?

Damn girl. Going to be an interesting love rhombus.
