Movies THE FANTASTIC FOUR: FIRST STEPS (First Teaser Trailer)

I loved Marvelverse stuff . But the OG arch ended at the same time Marvel started shifting fairly heavy woke , writers started fucking it up trying to satisfy agendas rather than strictly entertainment IMO.
when was that, exactly?

My understanding is they are winding up the multiverse angle with these coming movies.

They will use a Battle World type scenario, where all the universes are condensed into one (626) and we do not hear about the multiverse for a while.

This will also be how the Xmen come in to the 626 fully formed as they will exist in another universe that ends.

Loki is likely involved in collapsing all of them freeing him from his prison throne.
I read the other day that the next "saga" will be the Mutant Saga. Infinity Saga, Multiverse Saga, then Mutant Saga.

So is this set in an earlier time or alternate universe? If it's the former those fuckers have so explaining why they sat some major battles in NYC

Giving me the first Guardians of the Galaxy trailer vibes when I saw it. Meaning it will be surprisingly good or terrible

I’m leaning towards good

Surprisingly didn't look like shit. I'm digging the 50s vibe.

But why isn't John Krasinski Mr. Fantastic? I thought he had signed on to do it beyond just the one film?

Figure when there's a new biopic of Malcolm X coming up it will have Pascal as the lead. Do they really need to cast him in everything? Not feeling the rest of the cast either. The actual design of the Thing was good, but when he was talking to Herbie, I was pretty put off with how cgi video game-y he looked, you'd think a big project like this with a beloved character would have sfx guys that would find better ways to bridge that uncanny. It was in bright light though, nowhere to hide. In the scene where he was standing outside in the dark it already looked a lot better.

The First Steps teaser garnered 202 million views in its first 24 hours, making the trailer the most viewed for a Marvel Studios non-sequel movie.

For comparison, James Gunn's Superman drew 250 million views in its first 24 hours.

Is it the same reed Richard's who got absolutely mogged by Wanda?
Different. The Reed Richards in First Steps is from another alternate universe and is different from the John Krasinski version we saw in Multiverse of Madness (which was also from another universe).
