I’ll have to pick this up. I remember playing Oblivion on PC back in 2006 but I never finished it. I kept postponing doing the main quest to do side quests and all the guild quests. I was doing the Dark Brotherhood and accidentally killed the guy that comes in the night to give you assassination missions. After he died I tried to bring him back to life by editing the game file using Notepad but fucked it up somehow and corrupted my save file. I couldn’t bring myself to start over again, and thus haven’t touched it since early 2007.

I never played a single one of these games. What is the appeal? The only first person fantasy game I’ve played was EverQuest.
