I really enjoy it. Watched all of campaign one. Got about 30 episodes into two before I switched to campaign three. Any other D&D streams you recommend?

I don't care for it, but I wouldn't call it the worst. The worst are the twitch girl equivalents; hot chicks playing poorly but having an audience of simps

We put the word out in Waterdeep we're looking to buy some magic items with our reward. Merchant came to meet us at the Fateless Fiddle inn. Pretty good list of stuff to choose from:

I highly recommend winged boots. Work great both if you're ranged and want to stay away from melee characters or if you're melee and don't want to get left behind against flying enemies. The faster you are the better, my monk in our last campaign had them (was going for a Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon vibe soaring around during fights)

Also if whatever item generator the DM used isn't accounting for the latest books you might ask if the +1 weapon can be a dragon's wrath weapon.

I cannot think of a situation where winged boots aren't a top-tier magic item.

And so it begins...

Are they using original art, or is it going to be “reimagined for modern audiences” and Brightmoon will now have a side shave, Sturm have a curly hair above a fade cut, with a tightly trimmed mustache, and everyone wears spiky leather armor?

Thinking about the Bag of Tricks, Stone of Good Luck, Cloak of Protection, Instrument of the Bards, Sentinel Shield, and Pearl of Power. :D

Basically spent all our reward gold on Gray Bag of Tricks for fighter, two shield +1s for fighters, cloak of protection for bard, pearl of power for fighter/cleric, stone of good luck for fighter, and instrument of the bards.

Ran into some random tax collector who says we owe to the city of Waterdeep. WTF.

Looking to head south from Waterdeep to slay a necromancer to restore the soul of one of our NPCs. I got my soul back and am now a Fighter Battlemaster and Cleric War Priest of Lathander. Bard discovered a ship captain named Iron Eye who might be able to transport us south, but apparently he deals in contraband - smoke powder. Not sure if our bard is going to tell the party of this illegal activity or not. If she does, I plan to try to collect evidence on the boat ride to later use to get him arrested LOL.

And we all leveled up to 7!

been awhile since i posted in here, but i had to pop back in to say holy shit rakish audacity is op as heck. i haven’t been having as much fun rping ever since i had to make a new rogue character for my main campaign, but combat has been 100% fuck around & find out badassery.

The Dungeon Dudes have a campaign. Anyone watch that?
I really can't watch streamed campaigns. Like, CR is a bunch of professional actors so I'll watch clips but I'm not sitting through 3+ hours of it every week. And I really can't do it for the inside jokes and gameplay of some random people.

That said, I can easily sit through hours of campaign diaries like the ones Matt Colville and Professor Dungeonmaster do. So to each their own, I guess.

It's a fantastic ability.
every “how do you want to do this?” kill w/ rakish audacity + my high acrobatics always ends up being some ridiculous matrix shit. i’m loving it.

i wish i could find a better footing w/ the character outside of combat & doing rogue shit because his prowess in the aforementioned stands in stark contrast to his fish-out-of-water naïveté in literally everything else

The "steady aim" bonus action makes a lot of those other abilities that grant SA redundant. Makes you less mobile, but if you're ranged that's irrelevant and if you have something like defensive duelist you're still not likely to be at much risk
