It’s going to cost millions upon millions of dollars to change this. It’s the largest organization in the government. Changing a name of something this big is a monumental effort.

So it’s the Trump admin once again wasting out tax dollars on something that provides absolutely no value.

They aren't officially changing the name only congress can do that. This just allows them to use that name if they want. It looks like this is more of shift in policy of purpose of the military to what's its supposed to be.

I do agree that spending a buch of money to force them to change thecname is waste. This doesn't appear to be that.

We definitely tried to destroy them and push them out of Afghanistan. To claim otherwise is absurd and means no nuclear power has fought a war recently because they haven't used nukes.

No, the North wanted them freed. The South wanted them counted in a way that added to their Representation, but didnt qualify them for voting rights. The 3/5 compromise was NOT implemented by the North.

The north didn't want them counted at all the 3/5ths rule was a compromise. So the north didn't want them counted as people. Of course the south wasn't going to let them vote they were slaves and had no rights. Not saying that moral at all but its the truth at that time.

Some states in the north had abolish slavery in 1787 but other's still had them. 5 of the 13 states were against slavery.

Look at WW2 that was our last actual war.

The war on terrorism is mostly bullshit and not a war. I dont want a war with Venezuela it would be a bullshit waste.
