I mean, the majority of people can do that much....then good luck from there.

It certainly has an endless amount of layers you can just keep peeling back. The deeper you try to go, the more difficult it gets, but thats probably a good thing for most. You really dont wanna go further then a certain level.

On topic during COVID I jumped on, I'd got the address for the Silkroad equivalent or whatever it was. Looked cool, I was only trying to buy edibles but they were so expensive, ended up just getting some from my mate ha ha

I accidentally got some a long time ago when downloading photo packets from different sites in the AOL days.... Had to call the cops and everything. I can only imagine what might happen on there, so I steer clear of that mess altogether.

The address is encrypted..... Each hop decrypts a piece of the address......

Jesus that's what would terrify me if the police didn't believe it was an innocent mistake. Wouldn't surprise if lay traps on there and then blackmail unsuspecting people who get caught. I guess you alerted the cops straight away and they were happy with your explanation?

Absolutely.

Not sure who remembers getting those huge photo downloads back before the pornhub days and such. You would just download random packets filled with photos. Going through them and saw horrible things man, and we all agreed to call them immediately. Had to give up the pc to them for a few weeks so they could do their thing. Apparently they were able to see how they arrived on the pc with their computer forensics team or something, as it was all good after a month or so. Never did that again, and became extremely defensive of children. It fucked me up in a way.
