Evolution has made it so that we tend to perceive most dangerous animals as ugly, creepy or frightening looking. But occasionally one slips through that crack and is both adorable and ferocious. What is the most adorable ferocious animal?

Is it the Polar Bear?

I would put a monster prime Amur Tiger on equal with all land animals other than maybe a large bull elephant. However there are recorded instances of tigers killing large elephants and rhinos. Basically get on it's back and rip it to shreds. Also brown and black bear is on the tiger's diet.

I say prime because habbit, prey and population loss of the Amur has diminished to sad and near extinct levels. But in the past beast alphas reached 800+ lbs in the wild.

Like I said there are recorded instances of tigers killing full grown elephants and rhinos. The full grown elephant doesn't happen often at all( I think there is only a couple examples) but I believe a young male killed a 7 years old juvenile elephant not too long ago.



This has happened in a few different parks. From what I've read they get on their hind legs/backs and literally claw them to death. Ripping tearing and biting it to a slow death.

In the few YT videos i've seen, they (lions) climb on their (hippos) back, and just focus and bite on one spot. Once you've got that spot opened, you expand. Not a pretty sight.

800 lbs? thats cute. A rhino can weigh 5 THOUSAND. Theres no way a tiger kills a healthy adult. It wont even try. Lions can sometimes kill rhinos, hippos and even elephants- but only the sick, weak, or old ones.

No doubt a prime tiger is a handful for anything alive. But it is not dumb enough to risk hurting itself against these armored meat tanks.

Especially a Tiger, look into it -there is footage of them going after full grown Crocs in the water meaning the Tiger dives in and swims out to the croc. I wouldn't put it past a motivated Tiger (which go after Elephants in India for fuck sakes) to take a run at a Rhino or Hippo.
