Still the internet paint tigers as some mythical beast able to do dragon ball stuff
I remember reading about a desperate single old/starved wolf that killed a bison, that's don't traslate into wolves typically going around shoryukening bisons in 1v1 fights

Tigers don't "go after elephants", they may ambush a very weak (age, disease ecc) elephant or try theyr all in if they are desperate (hunger caused by whatever reason)

They have a little chance by perfect ambush with high risk if they fail and that's it

Both main elephant species, rhino and hippo if healty will almost ever fuck up a tiger. And even assuming they are all in the same area most of times the cat will be to smart to even try

Even with large brown bears tigers avoid the direct fight (but is true they ambush bears occasionally) and get bullied away from food.

Tiger's biggest kinda safe bet is a water buffalo or a gaur, wich is still very impressive
If they lived in the same area probably will also be able to do the same to the african buffalo, considering that against big preys tigers fight smarter than lions.
They will be probably be waaay more efficient at fuck up giraffe too
