just saw the spoiler under the ermine. Your right that thing is savageNo way. There are other weasel family members that are way cuter and more vicious like the ermine in the thread
yet all the most dangerous large game are herbivores. The cape buffalo, rhino, and hippo would all destroy any bear and large cat. And a healthy bull elephant is unstoppable.
The true alpha male of the planet has to be either an orca or sperm whale though.
800 lbs? thats cute. A rhino can weigh 5 THOUSAND. Theres no way a tiger kills a healthy adult. It wont even try. Lions can sometimes kill rhinos, hippos and even elephants- but only the sick, weak, or old ones.I would put a monster prime Amur Tiger on equal with all land animals other than maybe a large bull elephant. However there are recorded instances of tigers killing large elephants and rhinos. Basically get on it's back and rip it to shreds. Also brown and black bear is on the tiger's diet.
I say prime because habbit, prey and population loss of the Amur has diminished to sad and near extinct levels. But in the past beast alphas reached 800+ lbs in the wild.

No doubt a prime tiger is a handful for anything alive. But it is not dumb enough to risk hurting itself against these armored meat tanks.
Royal Bengal tigers, which usually prey on baby rhinos, have begun killing adult ones in Kaziranga National Park since the last fortnight.
Alarmed by this development, a team of experts from the Wildlife Institute of India (WII), Dehradun, will arrive at the national park tomorrow on a weeklong visit to survey the “phenomenon”.
Authorities at Kaziranga National Park have also informed the chief conservator of forests of the new trend.
Tigers killed 20 rhinos at Kaziranga last year, while this year eight rhinos have fallen prey to the big cats.
“The worrying part is that tigers have started killing full grown rhinos. Earlier it was only the calves the tigers used to attack but now the full grown rhinos are being targeted,” said Bankim Sharma, the divisional forest official of the park.
Them and Honey Badgers P4P GOATsWolverine all day. They're like cute little bears but will attempt and usually succeed to fuck up anything that gets in its way, regardless of size.
