The current HW division is embarrassing

fans are even more embarrasing
ive asked a tom aspinal hugger a question
because hes tryna force me to believe in aspinal
hes saying things like tom is a great wrestler striker and bjj fighter

i asked him:
which great striker did tom outsriked? = 0
wich olympian did tom outwrestle = 0
wich legit bjj practitioner did tom strangle = 0

could you imagine forcing someone to believe santa is real
but cant provide evidence <lol>

The UFC heavyweight division has never been deep -- it has always been this way.

Aging, "everything was better when I was younger" type posting.
Francis I have no problem with you listing, I listed him as well, because he's actually had success in his career. He might be a top 10 HW all time great. That's fine.... but everyone else you've listed has done absolutely nothing in a division literally everyone considers complete garbage.

Gane and Almedia specifically have done literally nothing in their entire careers and are also completely one dimensional. And we're going to say they're better than guys that have actually won fights against fighters that aren't nobodies? What are we doing here?

But again though, the 2013 list you initially put doesnt tell the whole story. Big Nog WAS a great HW, 10 years earlier. His only wins in the 2010s were over Schaub and Dave Herman. Fedor was "retired" in 2013 after fighting dudes like Jeff Monson and Pedro Rizzo in Russia following his disastrous Strikeforce run that ended with him getting KTFO in the first round by a 40 year old who had been losing to Jake Shields at MW a year earlier. Reem had a terrible year in 2013 after being inactive after the Brock win, and came back to get KTFO twice including one in the first round at the hands of Travis Browne etc etc.

It isnt as simple as "look at all those names!", its also about where they were at in their career at that point.

LHW is even weaker than HW right now if anything.

Do you honestly see a dude like Jiri or Khalil getting past Blaydes, Pavlovich, Gane etc?

I know the top 5 or 7 HWs are really solid - Blaydes, Pavlovich, Gane, Almedia.

Like I said, I feel like the lower top 15, or even the best unranked LWHs like Ryan Spann, Dominik Reyes, Alonzo Menifield, Nzechukwu can beat the LOWER top 15 fat, lesser skilled heavyweights like Cortes-Acosta, Tuivasa, Tybura, de Lima.

Just tuned in to tonight's fights and I see two fat asses with barely any technique and they are both ranked, and they are not even an anomaly, that's like 90% of the division, if there isn't a finish in the first few mins these HW fights are disgusting to watch, really sad what has happened to what was once the premier div of the sport, hell even in PFL, right now there is absolutely no one of interest to fight Francis because HWs there fucking suck too.
HW was never ever ever the premier division.

It's always been full of bar brawlers who were too fat for the NFL, and too greedy to become Bouncers.
