Exactly, I've made that joke sarcastically with Jamahal Hill being a huge LHW because he weighs a good amount, but he's just skinny fat.

An extreme example would be calling some 300 lb fat lady bigger than Ngannou, Ubereem, or Brock.

If Jiri wanted to be a "big LHW" he could start eating more pizza and easily put on 10 lbs in a week.

Honestly thought Islam would be much closer to 185 than he is. I would think sooner or later it would give him problems but seems he does a completely standard weight cut.

Could be smarter team preparation to keep him lighter so the cut is less extreme and draining. Khabib would kill himself cutting, probably one of the reasons he wanted to retire when he did.

Based on what, the eye test? We literally have evidence of Moicano coming off a training camp for Dariush, during the best run of his career, weighing almost 4 pounds more than Makhachev. Yet Makhachev is supposedly the one with the weight advantage because "look at his muscles, man."

Moicano used to be a featherweight 10 fights ago. He’s bulked up and gained muscle mass. Being a former featherweight doesn’t mean anything if you’ve gained proper muscle mass 6 years later.

There is no limit where they would cancel a fight, afaik, all this does is allegedly limit their chances of fighting in California again, unless they get some "wrist slap" by CSAC, not a big deal, the limit i believe its like 10%.

CSAC has been doing this for years, no other state, or specially the UFC, care about this, nothing really changes if a fighter goes over the limit, like more than half the card did, its business as usual for the UFC and other states dont care, they are also the only state where the official fight purse is revealed, but of course the UFC finds a way to pay undisclosed amounts to fighters, only the IRS would know about it.
