Guess Joe rogan,eddie bravo and schaub are all wrong when they were breaking it down and said he swept him with an x guard

They weren't wrong, he did sweep him.

But anyone who has watched the Diaz brothers over the years knows that they will pull guard, and allow transitions to take place in order to look for the sub. Nate especially is very good at catching guys in transitions, and that's exactly what high level black belts do - they lure you into a false sense of security and then hit the sub.
