This show was fantastic.
Much better than I thought it would be.
Love pretty much all the characters and writing.
Can't wait for the next season...gonna look up the comics now
The comics honestly aren't nearly as good as the show.

I kept hearing about this show but could never be bothered to check it out. My dad forced me to watch episode 1 while I was at his house on the weekend, and now I’ve binged the entire season.

What a GREAT fucking show. Bring on Season 2. That plane scene gave me chills.

Homelander was the shit. One of the best antagonist I've seen on TV in a good bit. That plane scene shows you just how fucked he can be.
A pure psycho as its not all or none.

Loved it, as for the plot hole the one poster pointed out with the gov and the corps relationship. They may have suspected as much maybe, but could have feared them too much to go in without solid proof. Like a North Korea with working intercontinental nukes.
When is season 2 coming out?

Great series. Fucking loved the first season except for the SJW episode making fun of the easy target and low hanging fruit that is 'Murican Evangelical Christians.

Both the anti-heroes and villains are a likable bunch. For me, Homelander stole the show.

I really enjoyed it. One thing though

was butcher's wife raped, or did she actually want to sleep with homelander?

Just finished it. I thought it was pretty good, although the relationship story was sooooo cringy. It might be the most forced and unnatural dialogue i have ever seen.

I think the show would have been way better without so mich of it.

I like the relationship story between Frenchie and the Asian chick a lot, but I'm not a big fan of the romance between Hugh and Annie simply because of how predictable it was.

I think it will be more clearly answered in season 2, but I think it was consensual

Homelander is by far my favourite character. I hated him on first sight and steadily increasingly liked him more and more.

In S2 there was a scene where he jerks off offer the entire city. It wasn't Greenlit though.

it was pretty clear that everything the butcher thought happened was just made up. He actually knew nothing. That was kind of the twist at the end.

I thought that episode had some of the best comedic moments of the series. Especially when Hughie confronts Ezekiel.

she fucked homelander and is now raising his kid

If she fucked him willingly she clearly wasn't willing during the act. She came out of that office like she had experienced some sort of trauma. That wasn't a women who just got done doing something she enjoyed.

Well.....the way they shot it, she didn't look TOO distraught. She might have had a celeb crush, did the deed, then realized what she did too her husband.

Or it could be she was raped.

Could have gone either way.

The way I remember it she clearly looked distraught. Didn't she come out like half undressed or shirt unbuttoned?

Tried to find the scene online but couldn't find it.
